“Very good!”

Nice rustic feeling place. Food was good but pricey. Staff was friendly & helpful. Nice patio area. Dessert was just average.

“Welcome Retreat”

Just a block off the main tourist avenue, Sweetwater has a lovely shaded patio where my family enjoyed a delicious lunch. Lots of salad choices but also burgers and other tasty items.

“Best meal of our three week trip.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 11, 2013

The food and service was excellent. The steamed artichoke appetizer was outstanding served with melted butter and a remoulade dipping sauce. Since we are from Louisiana, we loved the okra and sausage soup. The Mahi-Mahi was extra-ordinary with the crunchy crust from the cracklings in it. It was served on a bed of grits with seasoned collard greens on the side. The elk was also served on a bed of grits. The meat was so tender it could be cut with a fork. The chef/manager checked on us often as he knew we were from Louisiana. He was raised in Morgan City, LA, and played football for LSU (go Tigers), thus the Cajun flavor of the menu. The complimentary blackberry orange tort dessert was delicious. We have eaten many fine meals on this trip. This was the best!

“Delightful & Delicious”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 11, 2013

My husband and I were recently dining here for dinner. We sat outside on the lovely and quiet patio and had one of the best meals I have ever eaten! I felt like I was in New Orleans with the Cajun style dish I'd ordered and my husband loved his meal as well. The lunches and dinners at Sweetwater are amazing and a "must do" while in Jackson Hole.
