“Dont believe the hype....there is better in Jackson.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2010

Had to go to the much hyped Bunnary. We went on a Monday morning, figuring it would not be as busy as the week. We were right, it was full, but we only had to wait 5 – 10 minutes. Food was plentiful, but that was about all that was good at the Bunnary. Took way to long to order, too long to get food, when it did finally come it was tossed down, the quiche was cold, server never once came back to check on us, only got one cup of coffee after tying to get attention of wait staff.
Bunnary did not live up to the hype for us, moreover several folks around us complained about waiting to long, sent food back and I think were unimpressed overall. Maybe it was an off day, but with so many restaurants in Jackson to choose from, the Bunnary fell off our list.

“A nice dessert, but very busy place”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 2, 2010

We stopped in at the Bunnery for a dessert one rainy evening in Jackson. We waited about a half an hour before we were seated. The pie that I ordered was excellent, but they were out of many of the selections that others in my party ordered. The dessert portions were large enough to share. The children in our group got pretty hyper waiting that long to be served. Once we were served, the waitress was attentive. Because it is such a popular place, it is not the cleanest restaurant.

“Not happy with the salmon salad”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 2, 2010

We went over to the Bunnery because it was close to our hotel. I ordered salmon salad and when it arrived it didn't look like any salmon salad I had ever had. The salmon was very thinnly sliced (almost shaved) and it wasn't even cooked thoroughly. It tasted like it had been cured because it was so salty. Couldn't eat it. I should have sent it back but the place was really busy and we were tired from traveling. A big hype on their rolls which were very dry. For the price, I expected a better meal. My husband ordered some type of fruit pie and it was mostly gel with a little fruit. When we left, there was a line out the door to get in. I'm not sure why except some of the hotels offer a 10% discount with your room key. The name sounds cute but it has nothing to do with the restaurant.

“Disappointed”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2010

We had heard The Bunnery was the place to go for breakfast but we were very disapointed. At first we felt so lucky to have scored a table, based on the line. We were rushed thru the whole meal, I believe to get as many served as possible. We were given very little time to order before the pressure was on to get something ordered. My husband, children and I ordered a combination of scrambles and omelets. Our food came quickly but their famous whole grain toast and the inners of of omelets were cold. Its like the toast had been laying around and the omelets couldn't been given enough time on the griddle to get warm.
Nothing was good and the service, though pleasant, was very rushed.

“Not worth the hype.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 12, 2010

I went to this restaurant because of the hype as well as they advertised Whole Grain pancakes. Unfortunately, most breakfast items are al a carte and therefore are overpriced. Based on the prices you would assume it comes with an egg and hashbrowns. WRONG! I spent close to $20 before tip to have pancakes, one egg, hashbrowns, and orange juice. The final bad part was the pancakes were not whole grain, their packaging listed enriched flour as an ingredient. They also touted Pure Maple Syrup but when it came to the table it had sugar added. PURE maple syrup does not have sugar!
