We had been hiking and camping in the rain for a few days and stopped in to get coffee on our way home. What a happy surprise! Not only was the coffee delicious and fair trade, too, but we also found copies of the New York Times and a wide selection of fresh baked goods. We had a cinnamon bun and a muffin with our coffee, bought a newspaper, and enjoyed the seating area under the windows at the front of the store. We were headed home and didn't need groceries, but we were grateful for the few things we found that made us feel relatively comfortable in Jackson, a town that we normally pass through without a stop except for gas.
