This restaurant compares favorably to any in NYC , LA, or Chicago. The atmosphere is elegant and warm, not stuffy. The food is so creative... Mini fish tacos, potatoe pancake with smoked salmon, and elk chorizo with Vesuvio pasta......everything is mouthwateringly delicious. Salads so fresh and crispy. Make a reservation before you head to Jackson. Yes, it's that good! You don't want to miss it.

The floor is concrete and the ceiling is open to the pipes. The place is very casual and so is the food. On a Saturday night it was busy and noisy. Our waitress was young, friendly, and patient. My salad was good and didn't have iceberg lettuce. My friend's soup of the day was spicy and tasty. Unfortunately, the beer had a very weird after-taste. I'm not sure what kind of water they used, but it was pervasive. We tried at least a couple beers and they both had the weird after-taste. At least they have some beer samplers for $1.50. Try the sample first. They sell the bigger glasses as souvenirs. I wish they sold the sample glasses (about 6 oz?). They were adorable.

Thank you for taking the time to review on Trip Advisor, however, I do believe you intended this review for the Snake River Brewery not the Snake River Grill. Because of the similar name this mistake happens quite often.
Would you be so kind as to remove your post from from our page.

Kind Regards,
Snake River Grill Management

We dined here on our first night in JH. The food could not have been any better and the service was outstanding. This room is on the top floor of a buzy street but set back a bit so not loud at all. The decor is relaxed country with wonderful flowers and prints. We were very pleased with the service and the help from the kitchen. They even cook swordfish to my request even though it was not on the menu and it came out great. Wonderful wine list, though a bit pricey but we did not expect anything less. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a special night but be warned it is expensive.

We started with the onion rings. They were the biggest onion rings we had ever seen piled high on a post with several dipping sauces. They were wonderful. The Bacon Wrapped Wild Boar Tenderloin was a real treat. The Crispy Pork Shank was probably the best pork shank I had ever had and I try pork shanks often. The service and presentations were truly those that you only obtain in a first class restaurant and we were very happy we chose this place for our special night out.
