Several of our family members visiting from the east coast dined here with our family who live in Jackson year around. The menu selection was excellent and original. We had younger kids, teenagers and adults and everyone enjoyed their meals. The atmosphere is excellent and kid friendly as well as adults and groups. We frequent the Bistro whenever we visit Jackson. Highly recommended!

We greatly enjoyed this place a little bit out of the main tourist section. Seemed to be some locals there, and most people were a little better dressed. Pricey American bistro fare, very good drinks and excellent waitstaff. Handsome decor with huge French posters. Can highly recommend the pork chops (crispy on outside, extremely tasty) and tuna tartare dish. DEFINITELY make a reservation in advance, preferably well in advance on a busy night.

This was our favorite restaurant in Jackson. Wonderful ambience, not too noisy. Friendly, helpful service. Delicious, creative food served beautifully. I would come back here again and again!

From the moment we walked in the door we knew we'd made the right choice. Don't let the location concern you, as this gem tucked beside a hotel is worth the trip from the Jackson Town Square area. Warm and inviting, the seating is plentiful while still allowing space to converse with one's companions without overhearing every other conversation in the room. Alex, our server, was one of the best we've encountered. Friendly without over stepping, solicitous without ingratiating, and attentive without hovering. He brought bread to stave off hungry kids, and suggested several items to order immediately for our children so the rest of us could settle in with drinks and peruse the menu. Everything was delicious! Our entrees included Black Truffle and Pea Gnocchi, Fried Chicken, Bistro Meatloaf, and Pork Adobo. We would order every one of them again. The kids loved their mac and cheese and the cheeseburger, and I admit to stealing a few of what have to be among the best frites I've ever tasted. We can't recommend this place and Alex highly enough. We'll be sure to return next time we're in the area.

Rendezvous Bistro is more American than French in its culinary approach, but the dining experience is urban casual, including white paper tablecloths with crayons for the budding Picassos in your group. Daily specials include such American stalwarts as fried chicken (get there by 6:30 if you want any) and other comfort food icons such as meat loaf are always on the menu. There are some unusual items as well, such as the fried oyster appetizer and elk tartare (excellent). The noise level is moderate and the service is excellent. Reservations are a must in season unless you like to wait in line. There's a lively bar scene and Rendezvous Bistro is open much later than most restaurants in Jackson Hole, so you can dine after a movie or concert or meeting a late flight at the airport.
