Went with my son on a 1/2 day tour to ride fat tire bikes in the snow. we are regular bikers from Austin, Tx...so biking on snow in the park was a super-cool novelty for us. With a last minute call we were allowed to join an existing group to make it 5 tourists with 2 guides (dave + dan). Our ride took place on lightly travelled roads in the Teton National Park just north of the Elk Refuge. We rode Surly Pugleys with 4" wide tires. The bikes were in excellent working condition and had nice wide platform pedals (good for riding in warm snow boots). We had a great time and enjoyed talking and riding with the guides. They were very interesting, talkative & knowledgeable. They pointed out trumpeter swan flying overhead, moose lurking in the fields, and an ermine that ran across the road. With more time available in our busy vacation schedule, we would have definitely done more & longer rides with these guys. We highly recommend them.
