Review of Great Harvest Bread Co. - CLOSED

Great Harvest Bread Co.
Description: What a wonderful bakery and sandwich shop. The owner mills his wheat at 4am each morning as the baking day begins. The results are delicious and the staff is very friendly. We sampled 6 or 7 kinds of bread and bought sandwiches and baked goodies. You can't go wrong here. Different breads are baked each day of the week. And my wife loved their cinnamon buns.If we lived in Jackson Hole, we would definitely return often.

Jackson is well served with this franchise: the staff always offers samples, and are willing to answer any questions. Easy to reach in downtown. Nice sandwich selection. Would go there again.

Not what I expected. Average at best and felt like an unwelcome customer. I would recommend other places in Jackson Hole.

Another impromptu find - chicken enchilada soup was good, chicken noodle soup not that great. Staff very helpful and you can try before you buy on the breads. Different breads every day of the week.

Nothing but race reviews by us based on our late breakfast stop Friday am 1/3/14. We ate a berry scone, cranberry oatmeal, monkey bread, and sampled white chocolate chip bread, peppermint bark bread and bough cinnamon honey spread. Plus, I had a wonderful double espresso.

Manager Bree and the bakery boys were as nice as any folks could ever be. Everything we ate or tasted was over the top fantastic. We plan on stopping by for our goodbye breakfast in the am.

Went at 5 PM on Saturday afternoon. All the chairs around the tables were put up like they were ready to close the establishment (posted hours stated they close at 6PM). They advertised 2 soups that day--loaded potato and some other one. They were out of the potato soup and they only had enough of the second soup for maybe a cup. So we left and went to a different establishment. We had bought sandwiches the day before and they were good since the bread was fresh. Go early in the day--you get better service and they seem to have the items they advertise on the menu. For superb to-go sandwiches go to the Creekside Meats, Market and Deli (separate review)--this is where the locals go.
