Great little hidden gem in Jackson Hole. No lines, great snow, very reasonable lift tickets, affordable food options. This is the place to go if you want to avoid the craziness of JHMR.

We just got back from a Saturday ski trip the mountain was in awesome shape love the way they groom it and keep it Up. Seems like they are runs for everyone, And I thought my lift ticket was a pretty good value. The most we had to wait it was about three chairs the lines were awesome. We had a snack at the lodge and that was a nice lodge and a great atmosphere. It was kind a hard for us to figure out where to even buy our tickets we had to go across the road into the rental shop but it wasn’t too big a deal. I do feel bad that we bought tickets for the mountain coaster that wasn’t that great it cost $30 for me and my kid to ride it. It should’ve been worth 5 to 10 it wasn’t that big a deal. Had we avoided the roller coaster it would’ve been a five-star day.

Thanks for coming to visit the King, Mitch. We've worked really hard on grooming and our facilities so appreciate you taking the time to let others know.

I believe Snow King is the original mountain resort for the Jackson Hole area. There were many activities available for skiers and non-skiers, as well. We rode the cowboy coaster (quite a thrill), enjoyed tubing and took the scenic chairlift to the summit. All worth repeating!

We went for the all activities for $90. The skiing was great - so much more challenging than I thought this little mountain could offer.
After skiing several hours we went for two coaster rides because the first ride was so much fun.
Then we moved over to the tubing area to try all three paths plus a fourth trip of tying two tubes together. I laughed a lot and had a blast.

Spent half a day at Snow King Mountain and it was well worth the admission! We decided to do the ropes course with our kids as well as the other activities on the mountain. The only downside was the lift ride up got stuck for 15-20 minutes. Once we made it to the top; we were outfitted with our safety gear for the course and given a lesson. It took a little while to get the hang of how to move through the course but everyone caught on fairly quickly! We felt completely safe with the harness system. You can literally spend several hours on the course; ours was cut short due to an incoming thunderstorm but still felt we got our money’s worth! Each obstacle has a variety of challenges to complete whether a zip line, swing, climb, or other barrier. This course is high in the trees so if you are afraid of heights; this is not for you. Also; it requires a lot of strength, agility, and stamina so keep that in mind too. If you do get on the course and find that you need help; there are guides to assist you. This was one of our favorite family activities for our adventurous crew, we highly recommend!
