The room was spacious and clean. The front desk was not very accommodating or pleasant. The guy wouldn't even crack a smile nor was he gracious for us staying at his hotel. I requested a breakfast to Go for an early morning flight and you would have thought I was requesting a Million dollars.

The woman in the morning gave us yogurt and an apple but I truly felt she looked at this as an imposition and could have been more accommodating on supplying additional food.

The Inn is in a very handy location, just a block from the town center. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable and the staff was friendly. We'd have stayed another night but the were booked up for the Labor Day weekend.

We have stayed frequently over the years at Ranch Inn when we travel through Jackson. The location can't be beat and we can park and walk everywhere we want to go in Jackson proper. In fact, off street protected parking is one of the best perks.

Still we will be looking at other options unless the hotel picks it up a bit. And it is basically little things we notice that have changed. The rooms are still spacious, beds comfortable, and the decks are a great addition. But. Plumbing needs updating - water pressure low! In room coffee has been reduced to four cups in small CHEAP coffee maker. "Breakfast" is breakfast light - cereal, coffee, bagels and bread, fruit basically.

But it gets a four for price and location, good staff and comfortable beds.

Room tip: Have not had bad room. "Tower" rooms hotel like, can have noise from others, great balconies. Suites great but pricey and often unavailable.

We stayed in one of the basic rooms -- not the pricier rooms. I was a little leery of this, but we were very happy enough. It is what it seems like -- an older, run-of-the-mill motel. But it was clean, comfortable, and pleasant, the continental breakfast did the job (with ample tables and chairs), and its proximity to the center of town is unbeatable. Nearby motels that were considerably higher priced did not look any better, and most were further from downtown.

Our one issue is that our room was close to the back alley, and the world's loudest trash trucks spent an insane amount of time -- seemed to go on for half an hour -- emptying dumpsters of adjacent properties, at a crazy-early hour. We were planning on getting up early anyway so it didn't matter a whole lot, but if we had wanted to sleep in it would have been a real pain.

We stayed at the Ranch Inn for one night during our stay at Jackson. The Inn is located at the center of the town. It is close to all the stores and restaurants, very convenient. However, the Inn itself is very 80s like. The elevator was broken, and we had to carry all the luggage and climb the stairs to our 3rd floor room. The blankets were a camel color, albeit clean just makes you wonder. The breakfast is just bagel, toast, cereal, yogurt, and fruit. Overall, the place is just like any other motel.
