Ranch Inn

My wife and I stayed twice at the Ranch Inn on our trip to Jackson from October 7-13. The first was planned, the second was not. To start off, for what you pay and the location, the Ranch Inn cannot be beat in Jackson. Our first night we stayed in a Standard Room, which in every way was standard, but at $45 you cannot complain. We checked out the next day, but we returned about 8PM that night after our attempt to camp was thwarted by snow. The staff was very helpful and checked us into a Luxury Room for $60. The $15 was well worth it. The Luxury Rooms were in a newer part of the hotel, complete with a mini refrigerator and separate valet area. The extra $15 was well worth the upgrade in rooms, and unless the Standard is the only room available, I would definitely pay the extra for the Luxury in the future. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable and the continental breakfast was much more than I expected. I would stay at the Ranch Inn again.

We were two couples, booking two rooms in early Oct. We Have stayed here four times in the past. The rooms are beginning to show their age, but the set-up, with king bed, sofa, 2 sinks, and balcony, is perfect. We were able to enjoy dinner at Burke's Chop House and return to our rooms to have a fun game of cards. Outside hot tub was closed and inside hot tub did not look inviting. Continental breakfast left a lot to be disired--went off property to eat. I was awakened several times during the night by sirens from the fire station across the street, but others did not hear them. We like the location and still think it is a bargain in Jackson. Staff was courteous.

Have stayed here several times over the past 10 years and always returned because of location and clean rooms. This year was the last time of staying here, rude staff, tub would not drain and didn't get fixed and probably even looked at despite calls to manager Cindy who didn't even follow up with a phone call to us. Have seen no upgrades in the way of carpet, bed spreads, etc. over the years. This was our home away from home and now it's a bad memory. Always stayed in tower rooms including this time, where tub didn't drain, coffee maker didn't work, thermostat didn't work. Parking is an issue as many of the hotel employees are taking the few parking spaces.

stayed here 9/27-9/30 in a tower room. the room was spectacular for a hotel room, tower rooms have a small private balacony, great for a couple to sit out on and enjoy the mountain views. location is great just 1 block off main square so it is not as noisey. staff very polite and helpful. good WIFI in rooms. the best deal in town during off season. will stay here again if we return

We spent 3 nights in a room in the Tower Section and enjoyed it very much. The two sinks idea is brilliant. The room was huge, with a sofa, balcony, and great storage area just inside the door for our luggage and hanging up clothing after doing laundry. Bed was comfy and towels were plentiful and soft.
The staff was nice and helpful. We didn't use the hot tub. The breakfast was not bad for continental, but that room is tiny! One day we walked to the Wort Hotel and had a nicer sit-down breakfast.
If you want a great salad bar, the Teton Steakhouse, just across the street had one of the best salad bars we're ever dined at! We also enjoyed the Snake River Brewing Company, just a short walk away. The locals hang out there, so it's crowded just about every night.
Yeah, this property may have been there a while, but it's pretty nice and reasonably priced for being right in the middle of everything in downtown Jackson. We're already looking forward to our next trip there!

We were very pleased with our stay at The Ranch Inn in Jackson. We stayed in a king suite which was lovely, spacious and superbly furnished --- an outstanding value at $160 per night in expensive Jackson. The hotel is just a block from the town square and is no more than 5 - 10 minutes by foot to all that the historic district of Jackson has to offer. Free parking is a plus, as is basic continental breakfast offered each morning in a very cramped dining area. The Ranch Inn is an outstanding value choice to make for comfort and convenience while staying in Jackson.

Just stayed at the Ranch inn. it was average. i was in the "newer" tower rooms. they are very spacious, cleanliness was OK but there was a dirty tissue on the floor in the sleeping area which means the vaccuum wasn't really used the way it should have been. as this is an "expensive average" hotel, i would have thought there would have been more than just some soap and shampoo in the bathroom, not that it mattered, as i bring my own stuff, just seemed very cheap. (acc. to the soaps this is actually a best western)

people were nice enough. the outside hottub was not appealing, the indoor one was okay, just old. carpet worn, stained.... bed, VERY COMFY! because of the hotel location, parking and size of the room it was easy to overlook flaws....
