My wife and I stayed here a couple of nights. Check in was easy, front lobby was rustic but very nice as was the outdoor front patio. Albertson's around the corner was easy to stop and grab some snacks. Pool/hot tub was right off of the front lobby, but fine; quiet, no noisy kids, at least when we were there. We got a room on the first floor but we really didn't hear any commotion. Location is on the edge of town -- some things were walking distance, but downtown was definitely a drive. All in all a nice stay..

We arrived in Jackson without a hotel reservation. All of the recommended hotels were full. Fearful,we approached the Inn with lowered expectations. I am delighted to say we were wrong. The friendly and efficient staff were helpful. The spacious room is either new or a great and recent remodel tastefully decorated with comfortable beds, free Wifi, nice and large flat screen TV and excellent nearby restaurant(Rendezvous Bistro) combined for a wonderful stay.

Thank you for your kind words!

We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us!

We love to hear feedback not only on the hotel but on Jackson too! The Bistro, as locals call it, is one of several owned by the Fine Dining Restaurant Group. Next time you're in town, try dining at The Q Roadhouse (amazing ribs and bourbon bar), Il Villaggio Osteria (their homemade raviolis melt in your mouth) or The Kitchen (where everything on the menu is super fresh and all natural)!

We look forward to seeing you again on your next trip and thank you for choosing the Hampton Inn Jackson Hole over the many lodging options in the valley.

We spent the last 4 nights at the Hampton Inn in Jackson, Wy. We stayed in a King room on the first floor. I almost requested a different room because I typically do not like to stay on 1st floor rooms since I frequently travel alone. Since my husband was with me and I was extremely tired, I decide to keep the room as offered. Boy, was a glad! We had a beautiful (mid range hotel beautiful) king room with a sofa and fireplace. The bathroom was large, clean and new. The microwave and fridge in the room worked out well, especially with Alberson's being so close.

The location of the room was at the very end of the hall which made it a longer walk to the lobby and breakfast, but very quiet! We were able to go in and out of the side exit (key accessed) door which made loading and unloading the car very convenient. It also allowed us to by pass normal front desk/lobby area congestion when we wanted to.

The front dest staff was very helpful, We asked for suggestions of things to do, where to go, etc and their suggestions were right on. Cindy was especially helpful.

When we first located the hotel I was a little concerned with it being so far (actually less than 5 min) from downtown Jackson and the square where most the shopping etc is. However, after locating the Albertson's on one side (there is a walk through gate) and K-mart on the other, I decided the location was yet another one of the pluses. We were often so tired after a day in the mountains or on the river we came back to the hotel, walked over to Albertson's and had dinner from the deli/salad bar and yogart place instead of going to a restaurant.

The hotel also has a great fire pit area out front where you can sit back, enjoy the sunset.

We would definitely choose to stay here again.

hotel met expectations for Hampton Inn's that I've stayed in previously. free wifi, breakfast area was cramped. It was way overpriced for its location,(at this price should have been on the square downtown). Pluses, KMart and alberton's right next door with a Dominos and Asian resturant also next door. Price kept me from rating it higher

Thank you for your review – we value your feedback!

We appreciate your comments regarding the rate offered during the time of year you visited Jackson Hole. Summer, contrary to popular belief, is our busiest time of year with 3 million visitors, many coming through on their way to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, and another 2 million visiting in the winter, hence the higher rates in peak season.

Again, thank you for your comments and for choosing to stay with us. We hope you will come back for another visit and let us know how we're doing as we work through this first year in operation.

Take care,

Newer renovation. Very, very nice room decor. Typical friendly staff and breakfast. I'd say the breakfast area is about normal-size, but it's a bit narrow, so seems smaller. We would definitely stay here, again.

The location was fairly private, even though it was next to an Albertson's grocery. We walked to this store a couple of times without problem. Sitting on Hwy 191, it's got easy access to Grand Teton National Park, and is on the south end of Jackson, so it's also easy to head to Pinedale and the Museum of the Mountain Man!

In case there's no selection for it later -- be sure you go to The Bunnery, a bakery downtown on Hwy 191, between Deloney and Gill. But go as early as you can. Great food - and it sells out!

And thank you for including some of our favorites in your review too - The Bunnery is a not to be missed Jackson icon offering some of the most delicious baked goods! Oh and the Museum of the Mountain Man - wonderful exhibits and collections!
