“Grand Teton Sunrise Photo Shoot”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 15, 2013

Absolutely the best guided photo shoot I have ever taken. Not your typical large group hustle and bustle. Paul talked to us about what we wanted to do and see and delivered, and not only delivered, amazed. Paul is a local resident that has lived and scouted this area for decades. For any photographer this is an absolute. Knowing when and where to go, how the lighting will change the results, all invaluable when one does not have the time to put into an area to get those fantastic shots. Paul is truly one of the best.

Hi Kevin, it was a very special morning and my honor to have shared it with you. 399 and her new cubs of Grand Teton National park have not been the regular road side sighting she has been in the past, but on this morning we had a unique experience we will not soon forget. It was fun sharing it with you. Knowing when, where and what to look for can not be overstated. Sightseeing or photo enthusiast should not miss my Grand Teton Sunrise Safari as one of the first things you do. After this tour my guests continue to explore the park armed with the knowledge of the vast landscape and wildlife making for a much more enriched experience. Thanks for sharing. --Paul

“A great vacation experience!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 14, 2013

We found Paul's Safaris through TripAdvisor and since it was so highly rated gave it a try. Let me tell you, it was well worth it. We did the sunrise safari on July 3. Paul's experience paid off right away with up close pics of Clark, one of the bull mooses at the south enterance to Grand Teton Park (see pic below). Then we saw 3 adolescent grizzly bears, then he took us to some of the classic and not so classic photo spots for the Tetons. Inbetween he was giving us background info on the park, animals, geology, etc. I've been photoediting with Lightbox because of him. It is definately worth spending some of your time with Paul! Txs!

Hi Paul, and thanks for taking the time to leave a review for other Trip Advisor readers. Most people no that I’m a moose guy. I have been photographing a particular group of bull moose for many years and the moose known as ‘Clark’ is just one of many. He was particularly photogenic this morning as we had him all to ourselves. With warmer weather July and August can be tough months for wildlife viewing, but with the knowledge of where and when to look and a little luck we had great viewing on this morning. Hope to see you on your next visit. --Paul

“Sunrise Photo Safari”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 8, 2013

We had the pleasure of a sunrise photo safari with Paul on July 4th. He guided us to a great location in the park, set us up with equipment and provided technical help so that we could capture the sunrise at it's best. Paul is easy to be with and happily answered all of our questions regarding set up, equipment, angles and post production processing. He also shared his expertise regarding different cameras and equipment. Great experience!

It was my honor to share Grand Teton National Park with you on the 4th of July, thank you for the opportunity. This Sunrise was another one of the good ones! While not all my guests are photo enthusiasts, it was my pleasure sharing my experience and your taking advantage of the cameras I make available to all my guests. I know you took home some amazing sunrise photos of your own. Happy fourth of July to everyone...--Paul

“Awesome Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 6, 2013 via mobile

We took the sunrise tour with Paul on 7/6/13. I had always wanted to capture the sunrise on the Tetons and Snake River and came away with some beautiful shots. Paul was a pleasure to be with, anxious to show us what we wanted to see. While we weren't lucky enough to see grizzlies or moose it wasn't for lack of trying. We learned a lot about wildlife, history, geology and even our oun camera! You won't be disappointed. Hope to connect with Paul again.

Thank you for sharing your experience with other Trip Advisor readers. On this morning everything lined up for a perfect sunrise with clear skies to the east and just the right amount of cloud and fog on the mountains offering up one of the best sunrises of the summer. It was my pleasure sharing the morning with you. I look forward to connecting with you on your next visit. --Paul

“Moose, views, and sunrise!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 5, 2013

Wow what a great experience! We took the sunrise tour with Paul. It was early but man was it worth it. Great sunrise views on the river, Tetons, and lots of wildlife up for breakfast!

Paul had coffee and delicious muffins for us to snack on, and really knew his way around the park and what to look for to accomplish some great sightings and photos. Not only was it great to see the 'secret' spots, but his wealth of information and great questions made it feel like a truly custom experience.

We are headed back next year with friends this time and will definitely be doing this again.

The sunrise tour is my most popular tour for many reasons. Besides having the park to our selves while most folks are just getting up, the morning light makes the early hour worth every minute. Thanks for joining me and giving me the opportunity to share my favorite spots and wildlife with you. I look forward to your next visit. --Paul
