If you are looking for an amazing winter photography tour of Teton National park scenery and wildlife....look no more.....Paul is your man. We had awesome time touring the Teton National Park with Paul in his customized touring Van. Paul knows the Teton National Park well and was able to identify many of the moose he regularly tracks....by the way if you like moose....you will not go wrong with Paul....he is definitely passionate about the moose and knows the history of the region well. The wildlife we saw during the tour included....moose, buffalo, elk, coyote, bighorn sheep and eagles. Also, make sure to make use of Paul's photography equipment to include bean bag for resting camera....it was amazing how well the bean bag worked!. Don't forget to checkout some of the photos from the tour I have uploaded.

You got some great wildlife photos on your tour! Thanks for sharing them with other TA users. Regardless of your photography level I have the equipment you need to take home those memory making images and there is no charge to use any of it. If photography is not your thing my guests all have use of my high powered nikon binoculars and Swarovski spotting scopes. I'm glad you where able to take advantage of my knowledge of our local moose. Some of these moose I have tracked and photographed from when they where calves. When my guests see our local wildlife they go home not just saying they 'saw a moose', but they saw a moose with a story! Come back and see us again this summer. --Paul

Thanks for sharing your experience with other TA users. I had a wonderful time sharing and exploring the valley with your group. Wildlife during the winter months tend to concentrate in smaller areas allowing us the opportunity to view and sometimes photograph. I look forward to your next visit, maybe this summer? --Paul

We actually booked this tour last winter and it was truly a tour to remember. We were very fortunate to have a beautiful winter day and Paul's taking us to many spots for wildlife viewing. We booked the sunrise tour and would highly recommend this time of day. With a beautiful winter sunrise and early morning offering the ability to see just about every form of wildlife in its natural surroundings, cameras were clicking. Paul has thought of everything and is so very informative, personal, and helpful. I agree with Jim L this tour is the best way to start your Jackson Hole vacation. Paul has made it a point of being totally personal and educational; he is simply a wealth of information about the wildlife, the Tetons, and photography. If you book it, please tell him you read the review by the folks who requested his Golden Retrievers! He may even bring them along again for you!

I remember all my past guests and I remember we had a perfect winter sunrise on your tour. Lots of wildlife and the aplenglow was right on cue. I have been exploring and photographing Grand Teton National Park for almost 40 years and it never gets old sharing Jackson Hole valley with my guests. As many other reviewers have pointed out the Sunrise tour is a perfect way to start your Jackson Hole vacation. Because I'm the owner and guide and don't hire seasonal guides my guests are always guaranteed a more personalized experience. Its for this reason I do only one tour each day making each review I get all the more appreciated. Thank you for sharing! --Paul

We choose to go on one of Pauls tours because he sounded like the most personal of them all and we where not disapointed. The fact that all his tours are private apealed to us as well and his prices are comparable to the public tours we looked at, and that was a big plus. As for the tour it was simply perfect! We saw 610 and her cubs, that is the grizzly that gets all the attention in Teton Park. We realize we where lucky to see her and with Pauls amazing spotting scope it felt like we where right up close. Later that morning we did get close enough to a group of moose to photograph them and with the equipment Paul has available to use like the 500mm long lenses we took home some wonderful images. I could go on and on, but safe to say between Paul's friendly disposition and amazing scenery we had a great time. Anyone visiting Grand Teton National Park for the first time you must do one of Pauls tours. We highly recommend the Sunrise Safari.

Thanks Jim for your kind review, I know how other TA users appreciate the time folks take to post their experiences. As one of the only owner guided companies my guests can count on having me as their guide on every tour and with my tours all being private at a public price your guaranteed a much more personalized and unique experience. The Sunrise tour winter or summer is my most popular tour in Grand Teton National Park and the best way to start any vacation to Jackson Hole. I look forward to your next visite. -- Paul

I was fortunate to find Paul Martin via TripAdvisor. I emailed him right away and he promptly called me to go over his schedule. We emailed back a forth a few times prior to our arrival to Jackson Hole. I had read about two places I was particularly interested in shooting and we decided on Mormon Row as it would have been too hard to try and do both areas. He was promptly at our hotel at 6:15 with his spiffy, deluxe, custom-made Mercedes van. Can't believe I forgot to get not only a picture of his van, but one of him! I felt like I had known him for years! We drove out to Mormon Row, stopping a couple of places to be on the look out for moose. Guess they were sleeping in this morning. Arrived at our location and I quickly set up my tripod and camera.

I had taken several pictures of the famous Moulton Barn (see attached picture) and thought we should head out. Very dramatic clouds this morning. Paul said no, let's wait just until the sun comes up (was behind us). So glad he suggested to wait as the sun hit the barn and the top of the Tetons just perfectly.

We went several other places stopping a few times and then on Moose Wilson road we saw a heard of Elk. I quickly grabbed my camera which was equipped with his 150-500mm lens that he allows his guests to use. It's was very convenient in the back of the van to have a bean bag resting on the window sill to hold that lens and camera! We then ventured outside to get a closer look. Got a couple of good pictures before others stopped spooking the elk but also a big crack of thunder made us head back to the van. We had a bit of rain, but sure didn't dampen our tour.

Paul is so knowledgable about the Teton and Yellowstone area and gave us some great tips for our upcoming trip. And he provided coffee and those delicious hummingbird muffins!

My only complaint is I didn't sign up for the entire day.

As others have stated, I know we'll be back and wouldn't hesitate to contact Paul again for another photo safari! Thanks Paul, Denise & Tad, Ventura, CA

Thanks Denise and Tad for sharing your trip with others. Being able to book on line is handy, but as you point out I like to have good old fashion conversation with all my guest prior to booking, this way we get to know each other and I can better meet your goals and expectations. And that is just the beginning of how my service is so much more personalized. We had a wonderful morning starting with a sunrise at the Moulton Barn. My Sunrise Safari tour is the most popular of my tours and a great way for anyone to start their Grand Teton National Park adventure. It was my pleasure meeting you and sharing the morning with you. Come back soon..--Paul
