Wow! We took the 10 hour tour with our two kids. Matt ,our fantastic guide, told us about the flora and fauna ,history, geography, geology and about all of the animals. Our kids were intrigued and involved the whole time. Matt showed great respect for the animals in keeping us at an appropriate distance while observing them. He engaged our kids and us every step of the way. We were never rushed and Matt answered every question thoughtfully. This was the best introduction to Yellowstone and its environs.

I am glad you and your family had a great tour of Yellowstone with Matt. Thanks you for posting a review. Our tours are educational and a great introduction to this area for adults and children. On all of our tours we have naturalist kits and kids activity books for hands on learning for children. Thanks so much for touring with us and we hope to see you again in the future.

Cheers,
Eco Tour Adventures

Let me set the scene: family of 4, one week to see both Teton National Park and Yellowstone. Thank goodness we booked our tours with Eco Tours. Our first experience was in the Tetons with Taylor. Picking us up promptly at 6:00 am we were on the move. We all learned so much throughout the day. We were very keen to view wildlife and Taylor did everything possible to make it happen including phone calls to the "bear" network. There were so many highlights, watching elk through the scope, learning about the history of the people and landscape, learning about the habitats of the wildlife. A wonderful day.

Our Yellowstone Tour also commenced at 6:00am this time with Matt. What amazed me about this trip was how much we managed to see of the park. Yellowstone is at least a 90 minute drive from our B&B (the fabulous Wildflower Inn) and not one minute was spent in silence. I couldn't imagine I had more to learn as Taylor was so thorough but Yellowstone has its own wonders and Matt guided us seamlessly from one point to the next. Matt was fun to be around, his energy never wained. Again there were ample wildlife opportunities but equally fascinating was the geology.

I am quite certain that without these two tours we would never have been able to connect with the area as strongly as we did. Both Taylor and Matt are exceptional.

while in Jackson hole we did a whole day teton plus a whole day yellowstone tour and greatly enjoyed both days. could not have asked for more. both times, the guides were super-friendly and accommodating and very knowledgable. food is provided as well as binoculars for each member of the group. was a very worthwhile experience and we have no regrets.

This tour SO exceeded my expectations! I have been coming to JH for about 10 years, and during this visit, I had 4 friends from Philadelphia join us. This was there first time to the area, and I thought the tour would be a nice "kick off" to the trip. Our guide, Chris, was fantastic. She was so knowledgeable of the area, of the wildlife, and showed a real passion for the natural eco-system of the Grand Tetons. We did an evening tour, and saw lots of wildlife. In fact, the 4 hours seemed to just whiz by! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who may be on their first trip to the Grand Tetons, or for anyone who wants to gain a greater understanding and love of the area.

We could not have been happier on our first night in the Tetons with Taylor as our guide. The beautiful scenery is enough to bring you to Wyoming, but the wildlife is why we came. Taylor definitely came through for us. He not only knew where to look for wildlife, he was also very knowledgeable about the area and its history. We were thoroughly educated about the geographic area and wildlife and their habitats. There wasn't a question we could ask that he didn't know the answer. We saw an osprey with its young, a red fox, too many bison, elk, and prong horn deer to count, 4 moose, 2 beavers and tried our hardest to find a bear, but unfortunately to no avail. He also educated us on badgers and how they dig their hole, which we were able to use in Yellowstone to spot on our own.

Taylor also had high powered binoculars and a scope that enhanced the viewing in addition to hatches that opened up on top the vehicle. He also had delicious snacks and gave us a souvenir water bottle. By far one of the best excursions we have taken and I would recommend to everyone.
