New to Jackson are the ghost tours. Great fun for the whole family hearing stories of ghosts and historic happenings. It brings Jackson to life -- or death!

“Beware of liability you are taking!”
Reviewed May 21, 2014

Our 3 day 2 night Yellowstone tour was absolutely fantastic, amazing, and beautiful until the last day when we had an accident. We hit a rut going around a curve and it veered the snowmobile into 2 parked snowmobiles owned by another company. Even though we had purchased the insurance offered by Jackson Snowmobile Tours, and told we were limited to $600 if damages occurred, it turns out this covers only equipment owned by Jackson Hole Snowmobile Tours. You are responsible for all other damages/injuries. This was not in the waiver nor were we told when we questioned the employee we purchased the insurance from. We had to pay several thousand dollars and are so thankful and blessed not to have injured or killed others while on this tour. It was a very upsetting and costly experience but even more frightening to realize the tremendous risk/liability we were taking.

We did the day trip to Old Faithful and it was so much fun. There was tons of snow and the scenery was beautiful. It was our first time on a snowmobile so it took a while to get the hang of it - it was harder than we thought and I thought sitting on the back was a little scary going at speeds of 45+ mph. But we survived without a wipeout and had a great time. Seeing Yellowstone and Old Faithful in the Winter is great - you feel like you have the park to yourself. Our guide, Bob, was a pleasure. He was very nice, funny and interesting and was very patient with the one whiner in our group. Our buffalo stew lunch was great! I would recommend this to anyone with a sense of adventure and a love for the outdoors!

“Beautiful tour through Yellowstone with friendly guide.”
Reviewed March 19, 2014 via mobile

We took the all day snowmobile trip to Old Faithful. Our guide picked us up at 6:15am from our Teton Village condo. We had a couple more stops then headed to their store in Jackson Hole. Breakfast was good - muffins, bagels, eggs, bacon, cereal, juice, coffee, etc. then they fitted us for jumpsuits to go over our clothes. Also gave us boots, mittens, and helmets. Everyone was friendly.
Next, we loaded in the van and headed to Yellowstone. We had 10 people total. The only negative is the inside of the windows iced over, so we couldn't enjoy the beautiful view on the hour or so ride. I kept scraping my window with a credit card, but it would immediately refreeze. It was in the high 30s the day we went, and we weren't really cold. The snowmobiles are comfortable and had hand and seat warmers. The views were amazing. We pulled over often for photos, and to walk around. We saw waterfalls, rivers, lakes, gysers, Old Faithful, the lodge, animal tracks, etc. we didn't see many animals besides buffalo though. Lunch was in a yurt and was good. We have 2 teenage boys, and our 18 year old had his own snowmobile, but 15 yrs old aren't allowed to drive per national paek rules. They loved the trip as did we. My only negative is it was very expensive. We didn't get home until 6:30pm, so it is a very full day with 2 meals provided, but still pricey in my opinion. We would do it again though. Also, we didn't see many animals, but I know that is just up to chance.
