Description: The idea for The Kitchen came from a vision of a restaurant that would provide something different - a refined, yet casual establishment that would provide modern cuisine with a comforting twist. The cuisine at The Kitchen embraces various culinary techniques and ingredients including all natural meats, seasonal vegetables, and sustainable, fresh fish. The presentation is clean, simple and natural. The beautiful and elegant architecture of the building mirrors the concepts in the food. Purchased in June 2005, the old A-frame structured house was renovated to create a space with award-winning design and remarkable ambiance. The modern yet comforting theme led to the bamboo bar and tables, the luminescent eco-panel wave of light, and natural color scheme. An open kitchen design allows for greater connection with guests and offers a personalized experience. Enjoy a large outdoor deck during the long summer nights or sit by the warm fireplace in winter.

Based on other trip advisor reviews we knew we had to come here one night on our vacation in Jackson. Despite it being the off season we needed a reservation, so we weren't the only ones excited about this place. We had the shrimp appetizer- crispy and fresh with a great sweet and sour sauce. We each got a house cocktail, my coconut water and ginger martini was a ginger explosion and was quite strong- really liked it! Fiance had some orange fizzy drink that they make, carbonate and bottle into cute glass bottles in house. I had the teriyaki marlin which was amazing- just seared with a fabulous salty/ spicy coating with a light teriyaki sauce on the plate. Fiancé had the steak, and from his silence during dinner and his quickly cleaned plate, I'd say he loved it. Only regret is we didn't save enough room for dessert!

We read the reviews and decided to dine at The Kitchen. Absolutely incredible food, well prepared, cozy contemporary environment. We had red deer, done perfectly, very tasty, and well complimented with the cherries. The appetizers were incredible. We love Chinese, Japanese, European cuisines and this rates at the top of the lists.

Had dinner here based on Tripadvisor reviews and was delighted with the experience. Amazing food, wonderful service and nice atmosphere made for a pleasant evening on our girls trip. The food rivals the restaurants in San Franisco where i live. Will definitely return next time I'm in the area.

We went here based on TripAdvisor reviews and were not disappointed. The best prepared meal on the whole trip. Steak was great and the fish was excellent. Great choice in a town full of tourist traps.

This place is different in a very good way. The dishes are presented as food art. By this I mean they look so delicious in the way they are presented. I had the luxury shrimp and although there was more shrimp than I could eat I had a hard time stopping since they were so darn good. The setting is also quite different and it makes for a most pleasant experience to dine here.
