My wife & I stayed in this hotel on 5/14 and were so impressed - we're ready to go back again.

The cottages are so nice and unique. Great shower (dual head!!), large/comfy bed, front porch to relax on and a creek running through the property that they've tied into quite nicely - with board walk and paths.

NOTE: We did not try the restaurant - it was closed on the day we arrived.

Highly recommend to couples (we noted a newly wed couple were staying there); as well as families with small children - nearby geese and ducks around one of the ponds and the teepees should make for fun!

And - only a short four blocks to the Jackson business district!! Easy to walk to, but the hotel also provided a courtesy shuttle.

Because my job requires travel to far flung destinations, I’m afforded the opportunity to experience “interesting” accommodations that span the spectrum from high end, big city hotels and resorts to low end, shall we say, less desirable lodging. I would definitely rate the Rustic Inn Creekside Resort and Spa as upper crust. A great place you will remember after your visit to Jackson.

I call the Rustic Inn a unique combination because it blends elements of both rustic, out in the woods lodging with a big helping of sophisticated, top drawer resort accommodations, you’d find at the best big city hotels.

We were assigned to a Superior Double Queen cabin while our company provided video services for the Jackson Hole Snow Devil’s World Championship Snowmobile Hill Climb. Although the Resort is located near the center of Jackson and on the main road out of town that leads to Grand Teton National Park and beyond that, Yellowstone Park, our cabin was quiet. The cabin was a freestanding structure located in a group of cabins on the property.

The beds were very comfortable, the sheets and towels first rate and the spacious cabin was equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave and a fine flat screen TV. There was plenty of storage for our winter clothes and the room’s heating system was effective although the floor was cold. Since it was below zero every morning, this was understandable. But the heating system for the tiles on the bathroom floor, which would have made the tiles a little less frigid, seemed to be out-of-order. Otherwise, the cabin was nicely decorated and clean. Housekeeping did a good job during our stay.

The bathroom, which occupies one end of the cabin, is separated from the main living area by a thick, floor to ceiling curtain, which must be drawn closed for privacy. The only door in the bathroom leads to a small room containing the toilet.
The glass walled shower, contained two heads: one directly over-head to simulate rain, the other a standard pulsating head mounted on the wall. All the plumbing worked well and the water was hot.

I wish it had been warm enough to sit on our cabin’s front porch. I can imagine sitting on the porch during the summer, watching the sun go down while listening to the birds and chirping crickets.

Since this was business trip, and we were working much of the day, I did not have the opportunity to try out the spa, sauna, fitness center, Jacuzzi or the heated outdoor pool. They all looked inviting. However, we were able to enjoy the breakfast buffet. Great food, many choices. It was maintained by an attentive group of servers and a friendly breakfast chef. The buffet was a high point of our day and got us started each cold morning on the right foot.

Overall, I’d say staying at Rustic Inn, with its tree lined paths, log home exteriors and babbling creek, would be memorable, and enhance a trip to Jackson, Wyoming.

Room Tip: The free-standing cabins offer the most privacy.

I stayed three nights. Outside the door of my cabin was peaceful woods, the river and two real deer. My cabin was GEORGEOUS! I mean georgeous! From the way the lovely towels were hung to the fabulous walk in glass rain shower. I would call it "posh" old west style. The ceiling was vaulted and the chandelier was elk horns. The short walk to the main lobby, by the river was lovely. It was so peaceful in the cabin. NO outside noise. And Rustic Inn is probably the most clean of any resort in all my travels.
I cannot say enough good things about this resort!!
1. Staff! Absolutely over the top!!!
2. BACON!!! Breakfast is super SUPER extra special!! I have never in my entire life tasted bacon so delicious!
3. The National Elk Refuge is right across the street! A two minute walk!
4. The museum is close by.
5. I could easily walk into town. Or they provide transportation.
6. I love spas and good massage therapists, and usually disappointed... but not at Rustic Inn... where I got one of the very best massages of my life.
7. The lodge atmosphere lends itself to being friendly! People easily meet each other and talk in the bar.
Staying here is a great choice!

Room Tip: I did a LOT of research. This is a great choice! I asked for a cabin by the river with no walkway be...

We got good rates through Priceline, so this place met expectations. It is on the edge of town going north, so is very convenient to the park. The room was nice, and the included breakfast was delicious (maybe best bacon I ever had.) There were quite a bit of renovations going on while we were there. I'm not sure that it earns the "resort" designation, but it was a nice place.

Room Tip: There are just a few cabins creek side, so if that's important to you, request it. Also, they...

We appreciate you taking the time to write us a review. We did renovate all of our cabins, as well as fully remodeled our Deluxe guestroms this off season. Those renovations are now complete and look beautiful! Hopefully you will get a change to come back and stay with us again to enjoy the finished product!

The Rustic Inn was everything and more of the perfect place to stay. The accommodations were excellent with outstanding decor. All of the staff were so helpful and anything you requested that made a point to provide whether it was information or needed something. This would be the only place to stay for us. The Rustic Inn and Jackson Hole is perfect.

Room Tip: Double queen cabin

This place was really great , the staff were friendly and helpful. It was a group tour we spent 2days at the inn.
We were directed to all the different type of activities Jackson hole offered. They had transport taking us into town even though the town is within walking distance from the inn.
Breakfast was continental, dinner was great also. There is a gym and a laundry room for those of us who were touring.

Room Tip: The inn got cottages so you got your own privacy.

We stayed one night, April 12th. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We chose a cabin with a king bed, and we weren't disappointed. The Rustic Inn is updating all of its cabins, and we stayed in one that was newly renovated - very nice- vaulted ceilings, beautiful decor and pictures, huge rain shower, fridge, microwave, Starbucks coffee and complimentary water. Included in our stay was a full buffet breakfast. The morning we were there, in addition to cereal, toast, yogurt, fresh fruit and pastries, they offered bacon, sausages, hash browns, and biscuits and gravy and the chef was there to make omelettes, eggs or pancakes. The Rustic Inn offers a pool, hot tub, sauna and a fitness facility as well as an on-site lounge - very cozy - and dining room. A short stroll on the grounds takes you to a pond with beavers and otters - very relaxing. All this is within walking distance to downtown, with restaurants and shopping. We would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Ask for a cabin on the water. They looked very private and peaceful.
