“Time Tested - Beautiful Animals - Family Fun”
Reviewed December 31, 2013

Went the day after christmas and enjoyed this time tested ride. Was good to be back home and enjoy mother Nature. ($15) Be sure to drive the back side of the refuge and see the Bighorn Sheep licking the salt off the cars, thanks Michael for that tip. Incredibly close up and wife took some great photos. Our guide was Michael and with proper clothing and blankets you will be warm enough. Recommend if you like nature when your in the area. Video of the (barely) sparring Elk on the YouTube Channel. Thanks for reading. If this review helped give me a vote!

“Must do!”
Reviewed December 30, 2013

Our family of 11 went on this sleigh ride on Christmas Eve afternoon. What a treat. David was our guide--so knowledgeable, interesting and ready to answer all of our many questions. It was chilly, but dress in layers, use their blankets and you'll be just fine. It is a lovely hour, and you will see lots of Elk!

“Great views and a great time”
Reviewed December 28, 2013 via mobile

We loved it. Dress for an hour outside sitting on a wooden sleigh bench with thick blankets. The guides are great, the horses are gorgeous and the elk are impressive. Get there 15 minutes early and be sure to check out the conservation efforts detailed in the visitors' center.

This is a great way to have an easy down day in town. Go see the elk, which is only an hour total, then stroll around downtown on the square in Jackson.

“Fun sleigh ride”
Reviewed December 26, 2013 via mobile

My husband and I went on the sleigh ride into the elk refuge. We saw many elk and enjoyed the guide. Justin is knowledgable and fun to be around. It was a good experience. There were a lot of elk there on December 23rd. Enjoyed seeing these big beautiful animals up close. The wildlife made it worth braving the cold windy weather. Wear an extra layer and coat and hat if you go when it is snowing and windy. Reasonable price for an enjoyable trip.
