What a fabulous collection of western art and statuary! We loved the outside grounds almost as much as the inside. The view of the elk valley is stunning.Great gift store, too.

If you are into wildlife then you will love this museum. Located overlooking the Elk Reserve, they have great exhibits including a look at a local artist's studio.

A really beautiful building overlooking the elk refuge. The collection is nicely displayed but obviously limited in scope. A nice rest day activity for an hour or two.

I love the size and scope of this museum. It is a manageable size and provides a good education on an amazing collection of wildlife art. I took granddaughters there (ages 5 & 7) and we had a great time. They have a children's area that has interesting activities. I always look forward to the temporary exhibits. The cafe features outdoor seating where you get a wonderful view east across Jackson Hole. Friendly and helpful staff and a nice gift shop round out the experience.

I spent a lovely two hours perusing the permanent and visiting exhibitions. It is soon after Christmas, so I assume this is why the museum was so empty. I enjoyed feeling like the whole place was mine. I learned a lot using the free (with $12 admission) audio guide/tour. No matter your experience with art or wildlife, I recommend a stop at this thoughtful, inviting and interesting museum.
