“Great food but a little pricey.”
Reviewed July 19, 2013 via mobile

They have everything from salads, to chicken fingers, to steak. Every meal my family ordered was fantastic. The prices were a little high but theres not much you can do; its basically the only game in town.

“Ponderosa won't send you out hungry, great food!”
Reviewed July 7, 2013

Went in shortly before closing. Ordered the steak. Got a soup, got a salad with homemade dressing, great steak with superb roasted potatoes. Surprised to get a salad and a soup included. Both homemade and delicious!! Would go again!

“Expensive”

Good food, but too high. But it's about the only game in town. Pretty good election, but didn't quite hit the spot.

“Best meal we had in weeks”
Reviewed July 6, 2013

When we crusied in to Hulett in the early evening we were a little worried that we we have nowhere to eat. After checking in at the Best Western (nice hotel and friendly staff), we wandered on over to the Pondersa for a meal. I would have been satisfied with a burger and a cold beer. Instead, we got an excellent meal, very friendly service and a great selection of cold microbrews to choose from. The menu selection was small, but more than adequate, and with good variation. My steak was prepared perfectly and came with some delicious roasted fingerling potatoes. The salad included spinach and greens instead of sliced up iceberg lettuce and the homemade bleu cheese dressing was a great accompaniment. The homemade chicken soup had a rich texture and lots of ingredients - more than I expected for a 'soup comes with the meal' side dish.
Real attention to detail in the food preparation and selection and a warm and friendly servers.
If you happen to be in Hulett or just visiting Devil's Tower, stop in and have a bite, it's only 10 minutes away and well worth the trip!

I thought a bit pricey, but it tasted good. It was 15 minutes before closing time and they still served us.
