So...selection for places to send my guys when travelling on business to Guernsey are few and far between. I expected to be received with this kind of attitude when booking my rooms, but I didn't. Desk staff is friendly and very accommodating, allowing me to add to or take away from my reservations at the last minute.

Feedback from my guys is that the place is clean and that breakfast is tasty. That's all I need to book again and again! Looking forward to this summer with a strong, locally owned hotel to give our company's business to.

Clean Hotel, Awesome breakfast especially since there are NO restaurants in Guernsey except Crazy Tony's. But the food at breakfast was very good. Only complaint was the rubber pads on the mattresses. Very noisy when moving in bed, but the beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean, overall, very nice. The staff was good and it was good to see old friends. One more thing and they are in the process of changing this - they need to remove the wooden planks used as the sidewalk, very dangerous for older people.

This place is clean and what does someone need for one night? Just a decent, quiet place to rest. They have a western motif and the room was adequate for us. American owned and operated. The breakfast was very good with fresh baked hot cinnamon rolls, yogurt, biscuits, cereal, juices. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay there again. Only thing I found wrong was that the icemaker was out of order and I paid a quarter for nothing. Oh well.

Room tip: There seems to be limited places to eat at Guernsey, so you may want to have some snacks on hand. Their breakfast was better than most of the chain hotels we stayed at on our journey. This town is known for the Oregon Trail Ruts just outside of town. A must see for everyone.

Homemade biscuits and gravy, homemade breakfast burritos, freshly cut cantalope, homemade cinnamon rolls straight from the oven! The breakfast nearly made up for the room. The mattresses were covered with a rubber pad! I'm sorry, but I quit wetting the bed many years ago. I hate those things. They make noise every time you turn over and they make you sweat. I tried to remove it, but the mattress was completely encased in it.

Nice theme to the place's decoration cannot mask the fact it is an old, updated place with small rooms. Our room had refrigerator and microwave in the room, but no drawers and minimal shelf space. A few cheapskate items like bottom-line Kwikset locks on the door, thin pillows, analog clock, cheap TV remote control, and ineffective wifi signal in the room lower the room's quality. But hey, it's the only AAA motel in nearly 50 miles, so if you need a place to crash, this is it.

It is close to Oregon Trail ruts and Register cliff, and just over 10 miles to Fort Laramie.
