We found this hotel & history very interesting. However, I would suggest you check to see if they are doing construction as it is an old building and light and noise comes through the walls very easily. We arrived in late & they were still very nice. Though make note if your going to be late in greybull make sure you have your own supplies that town shuts down early.

Wonderful old west building renovated to meet the needs of modern travelers. Really good beds. Cannot say enough for the service of the owner and staff. They were spectacular. Will stay there again.

We found the Greybull Historic Hotel on line and booked a room for one night on our way home from a two-week road trip in the West. We found the hotel very interesting and enjoyed its history and uniqueness as compared to cookie-cutter motels. The owners were friendly and helpful. For the modest price, we had a clean two bedroom suite that included a kitchen, sitting room and private bathroom. In addition, we ate our evening meal at their restaurant and my husband said his meal was th best he had had on our entire vacation. If you would like to step back in time with a unique experience in a quiet little town, this hotel will not disappoint.

What a great place! We stayed 7 nights and it was wonderful. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was cozy. The owners made us feel welcome the minute we checked in. We ate dinner at the restaurant on site a couple of times--DELICIOUS! Everything about our stay was great.

Just stayed the night on our way to Yellowstone. A really quaint, historic hotel with an extremely gregarious owner. There was a slight mix up in our reservations (our fault) and he accomodated us immediately. I would definitely stay there again. Didn't eat at the restaurant, so I can't say if it was good or not. With that, I did have a chance to walk around town (its very small) and found the place friendly. The only problem is that this place is a work in progress and there was a lot of tools and material laying about. Not a big deal for me, but it might be for others.

We were on our way from Bozeman to Ft Collins and this was a perfect place to stop. The owners have been restoring this lovely old hotel so it can only get better. Our stay was brief and it was not on a day when they served dinner in the Speakeasy, so we can only attest to the comfort and loveliness of the suite we stayed in. Also, the town was in the process of tearing up Main Street to make significant improvements, so it was not at its best. We look forward to a return trip to see the results of both the hotel room restorations and the redesign of the sidewalks in the immediate neighborhood.

What a gem of a hotel! The rooms were thoughtfully and well-prepared, with lots of hot water in the showers (wonderful after a day in the Wyoming winter cold!). The food at lunch, especially the homemade soup, was delicious! But my favorite part was the Speakeasy! Open Thursday - Saturday (I'm not sure about Sunday), it was such a fun experience! The steaks were delicious and the carrot cake absolutely divine! The owners were generous, hospitable, nice and they really made the experience all the more fun. If you are anywhere near Greybull, its worth the drive over to check out this hotel. And if you are lucky, you might even stay there a night or two! I enjoyed my visit so much that I felt compelled to type a review in Trip Advisor... my first review ever!
