“Right by very scenic drive. Great stopping point on I-80!”
Reviewed August 1, 2013 via mobile

Hotels in Rock Springs were booked up and what luck for us. This pet-friendly hotel turned out to be the most pleasant stop on our cross country drive. There is a long gravel drive by the hotel that leads to a nature preserve that houses wild horses and stunning sunset views. Highly recommended! About $20 more expensive than other area hotels but really nice rooms.

So glad that you enjoyed your stay at our hotel. The wild horse loop tour is a very nice and relaxing drive to see some wild horses or just more scenic areas. Sunsets in Wyoming are very beautiful. Have a safe & wonderful vacation.

I love Hampton Inns because you know what you are getting and this one is above and beyond top notch! It's a newer hotel, built within the last few years and has been maintained very well. Extremely clean, affordable, excellent service. If I'm in the area again I will definitely stay there again.

Thank you for writing a review. Even though our hotel is 5 yrs old, it does still feel like new and the hotel sits in a beautiful setting, with the rock formations all around us. Until next time, safe and happy travels.

This was the only hotel available between Rock Springs and Green River due to a National High School Rodeo event. We had not made reservations, thinking there wouldn't be any problem. This turned out to be a great stay with a bonus gorgeous view. The price was more than we wanted to spend, but I guess they had seller's advantage. Our room configuration (lights and sink outside the bath and toilet room), made it hard not to wake up the rest of the family in the middle of the night or morning. But, if we had made reservations, we could have chosen a different room.

We stayed one night at this location before traveling to Yellowstone and selected the hotel due to location. We enjoyed our stay but would like to have had more dining options there are no restaurants near the hotel that you can walk to but we drove into town and ate at a Chinese restaurant that was very good. The hotel was built on the side of a mountain with a great view of the rock formations behind the hotel. The outdoor area was nice that faced the mountain. The garbage can was full when we arrived and was not emptied the following day either. I did see a staff person empty the can in the front door area but for some reason the back area was not done. Other than that the hotel was fine. I would stay here again.

Thank you for wring a review. There is not very many restaurants in our immediate area. Monday- Thursday we offer a light dinner for $ from 5pm to 7pm. The beautiful rock formations are appropriately named, the tea pot and sugar bowl. Thank you for staying with us and we do look forward to seeing you the next time you are in our area.

I loved this Hamption Inn. It was a nice sight to see at 1:00a in the morning when we were bone tired. The price is a bit high, even for a Hampton Inn and especially for the area. But, seeing the parking lot so full, they can charge what they want! What was breathtaking was the lighting of the area behind the hotel. Beautiful lighting against a wall of rock...quite a sight, especially for those traveling from the east.

The beds were comfy (as I always expect from Hampton Inn) and the breakfast in the morning ample.

I would highly recommend this hotel.

We are a bit hard to find the first time, but once you find us and see our beautiful surroundings you never forget us. Our illuminated rock formations are appropriately called, Tea Pot and Sugar Bowl. Our wonderful beds are we consider Cloud 9 and are specially made for Hampton hotels. I do appreciate you taking the time to write a review. Have a safe and wonderful summer

This was a very nice hotel and one that is relaxing and enjoyable. It was overpriced for the area ($150 for one bed), but the nicest hotel in the area. As a frequent traveler, I would think this room would have run for up to $100 for the same room on a Sunday night with no special events happening.
