Super 8 Green River
Ranked #4 of 6 Hotels in Green River
Reviewed June 28, 2012

Worst motel ever. The shower didn't work at all and there was not even enough hot water for the two of us to wash adaquetely. The desk clerk was sound asleep for most of the evening even with us going in and out right in front of her. Our friends room was just as disappointing. Their bed sagged so badly, they hardly slept all night, and they also had no hot water. The rooms smelled badly, and just felt dirty! When we complained to the manager, who was very rude and arragont, he offered us a $5.00 refund......Seriously....after riding over 300 miles on the motorcycle in 100 degree temps and not even not being able to shower...YUCK ! ! Super 8 really needs to reconsider having their name on this establishment.

Room Tip: Can't even give this motel a 1 rating!

We were touring and could not afford mohab prices so booked this super 8 ton use as a base. We found the staff polite and helpful. The room was clean, tidy and had what we needed. Theb location is great for archers and canyonlands. You could do much worese than book this super 8.
Just beware that green river is a dead town, there really is nothing to do at night. Resturants are limited.
but is a great locationj for touring and this motel is excellent value

Just got back from a family road trip and this was a stopover for us.
Room was adequate- clean, but not overly updated or new looking. Halls were smokey as others have commented. Nice to have fridge and micro. Beds were ok- a little too soft and slopey for me.

We checked in super late night and the front desk guy was great- fast and accomodating. We requested a crib and it was already in the room, which made the late night check in so much easier.

If your looking for a stop over and your not overly picky on details but want a clean, nice hotel- stay here. We didnt' have time for breakfast, so no comments on that.

This is an old motel that is very run down and almost everything does not work. Even found a dead humming bird in the AC unit. The only thing good about the place is it is cheep and you get what you pay for.

Room Tip: Hotel to avoid

This is a tired motel with an unappealing lobby and corridors. It was adequate for one night's stay while we were passing through and certainly cheap enough. We were near the laundry room and it seemed the dryer ran most of the night. The rest of the night, we could hear toilets flushing and showers running. The staff was friendly enough, but never at the desk...we always had to ring for them. The room was first floor/ subterranean and smelled a bit musty, but was clean with micro/fridge and large flat screen TV. Breakfast was the usual high-carb offering.

We stayed 1/05/11. This was our first stay in a Super 8 and we really enjoyed it and will look for others , because of this experiance. The staff at the desk were friendly and helpful, we didn't smell any smoke (as I've read others experianced), our room was pleasant and larger than we expected, the king size bed was very comfortable, and the indoor pool and jacuzzi were perfect temperatures.
My husband and I always look at the available room before deciding to stay, and usually it is 2-3 rooms , before we make a decision; but this day we took the first room we were shown.

Room Tip: get a room on the second floor for privacy and a view.
