Bit more difficult to find than some of the other motels on the strip, but once I got in, it was a welcome relief. Room was very nice, quiet and comfortable, with plenty of pillows. I arrived in the middle of a thunderstorm, so I was disappointed that I had to cross a wide street with no crosswalk to get to the closest restaurant, but the motel itself was perfectly fine.
We heard NOTHING at this Day's Inn during our overnight stay, even though our room was on the first floor just off the lobby AND there were several tour bus loads of visitors staying at this hotel. The exterior looks brand new. The room we had could use a makeover, looking tired and used but it was clean with the basic amenities. Breakfast was the basics (good doughnuts and tea selection) although there was no oatmeal to be had. This hotel is conveniently located off an I90 exit that has everything.
We stopped at this hotel on our way to Yellowstone Park. We chose the Days Inn because they were one of the more affordable places to stay in Gillette. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we checked into the hotel. They helped us with directions and sent us to an nice place for dinner. Our room was clean and comfortable. Also, we enjoyed the breakfast since they had waffles!
We stayed here with the AARP rate for considerable savings from the other local hotels. The desk staff was very friendly. The shower was excellent with a WaterPik shower Head. The bed was more firm then I care for. The pillows were very comfortable. The WiFi access worked fine. The continental breakfast was average.
