“Will not stay at this location ever again.”
Reviewed March 1, 2010

Arrived at approximately 11:00 P.M. It took us almost 30 minutes just to check in as there was an older woman being trained. Once checked in we went to room and could barely fit by the bed to get to the closet to put our suitcases away. We had to move the office chair at the desk in order to get the suitcases by. The refridgerator had an old beer cap in it and was not clean. There was part of a candy wrapper on the floor under the desk. The bathroom door must be closed all the way in order to access the shower. There were only two bath towels provided. And last but definitely not least the toilet was filthy!

This newer motel was just a couple of miles outside of Casper to the east on I-25; I preferred that since I wanted a view of Casper mountain to the south and not be surrounded by city, traffic and/or stores. It was a freebie for me with points I got from being signed up with Choice Hotels 'membership', so I can't really give you an idea of value, that's up to you. It wasn't luxury, but it was very nice, clean and the people very friendly. I always appreciate a computer in the lobby for guests as I don't bring my own. And fridge/microwave in each room! The breakfast was the deluxe Choice Hotels breakfast, with hardboiled eggs, waffle maker and fruit, yogurt, breads, etc. Tho, honestly, NOBODY knows how to hard boil an egg, not even me! I chose 'very good' rather than excellent because I guess I'd reserve that for really expensive motel chains.

We had stayed here in 2007 and found it to be your typical Sleep Inn. Time has taken a toll on the room furnishings. The bed linens were shabby; the towels were clean but frayed and furniture was showing it's age. If you are looking for a reasonably priced stay and aren't looking for too much in amenities, the Sleep Inn will be adequate. There are no close places to dine, but a few miles away is chain restaurant heaven. We ate at On the Border and the food was very good and the service was good as well.

We stayed here on our way to Reno, NV. We made a great choice. The hotel is close to Interstate 25 but very well soundproofed because we couldn't hear any noise from the highway and our room was on the highway side. We also couldn't hear people in the hallways which was nice for sleeping. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful which we really appreciated the next morning. When we arrived at the hotel it was snowing like crazy! We didn't worry too much until the next morning when we saw that it had snowed quite a bit overnight! We were up early using the hotel's computer checking the road conditions for our day of travel. It also helped that the front desk staff had up-to the-hour printouts of the road conditions for several major roads and was also willing to look up other locations for us when we couldn't use the public computer. There were several hunters staying there too and we were all wondering what our next move was! In the meantime we ate breakfast which was the usual waffles, breads/muffins, fruit, yogurts, etc. They kept it well stocked. We finally were able to leave at around 9:30 AM but would have stayed there another night if we had to. I would recommend this Sleep Inn to anyone looking for a friendly, quiet place to rest for the night.

This is a newer hotel and is very nice as you enter the building. The staff was friendly and helpful. The first room we were in had a funky smell and the toilet was backed up, but they were very quick to put us in a different room. The second room was great. We were just off the lobby but the room was surprisingly quiet all night. The room was tidy and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was clean, the only challenge was how to turn on the shower. (Hint: there is a little ring on the tub faucet and you pull that down towards the tub) Once we figured that out it was great. The pool here was clean and there were loads of clean towels to use right at the pool. They do have a slate decking around the pool that becomes quite slippery when wet, so you have to be careful there. Breakfast was tasty and a good selection. Price was great too! For a budget hotel, this is great!!

  • Liked — Good location and good value
  • Disliked — Bit of a 'funky' smell in the rooms until you air them out (musty)

This hotel was the only one with any vacancies in the area. It was a super nice hotel. The rooms were spacious and very clean, the staff was nice, and it is very easy to find. Loved this hotel!

Very nice hotel. It is only a couple of years old. The room was very clean. The staff was very nice and accomodating. The breakfast is the typical continental. It was well stocked and all was fresh. There is an indoor pool and spa, weight room and laundry. The pool is open late so we were able to get a quick swim in after a long day. For a standard hotel it was nicer than most that we have stayed at on our long trip. I would stay here again. The rate was good and they gave us a AAA discount of $10.00. The rate was only $90.00. If your going to Casper this place is just 10 minutes from downtown Casper. Easy on/off freeway access. Worth the value.
