The Brooks Lake Lodge is a dream for escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday routines.
Located about an 1 hr east of Jackson Hole, 5 miles back into the National Forest, an Oasis for those wishing to relax, renew, snowmobile, ice fish, cross-country skiing, dog sled... or whatever. The Lodge with its large fireplaces, the luxurious spa with an extra large outdoor hot tub facing the magnificent Pinnacle Mtns, sauna and steam room.........offers it all.
The scrumptious food is expertly prepared by a chef and features nightly creations served by candlelight in the main dining room. There is tea in the afternoon and with a beautiful creation of appetizers; cookies, fruits, assorted cheese and cracker, as well as muffins .
Snow activities are provided by experienced guides who can offer all levels of experiences.
The staff is always welcoming and know how to provide the quality of services one would expect in such an inclusive winter experience. I look forward to each winter because of the trip to Brooks Lake Lodge.

Room Tip: Where you desire Cabin or Lodge Accommodations, you will find the beds, baths and amenities will exceed your expectations...........always warm and cozy.

We stayed for 2 nights as part of Adventures by Disney trip. We stayed in a cabin and did horseback riding and fly fishing. Saw a double rainbow both afternoons after a brief shower! Great food and wonderful staff....wish we could have stayed a few days longer.

If you would like a trip to a remote beautiful part of the country this is great. You have many options of activities not only for adults but for children as well. I would not recommend bringing children under the age of 7 because some of the activities require certain skills and younger children just aren't there yet. If this is not an issue for you and your family, they have great younger children activities while the adults go off and play.

Overall on a scale of 1-10 I would rate this destination an 8.

We (family of 5) first discovered this gem 9 years ago by accident. Our first visit was as good as it could get - so we thought back then. At the time, my children were 8, 10 and 12 years old. Since 2002, we have returned to Brooks Lake Lodge a total of 7 times - most recently last month. And we were wrong as the place only gets better with every trip. Food is out of this world - even lunch fare with an extra spin. The beauty of both the surroundings and lodge itself is unmatched. Staff is always top notch with a desire for fun, success (fly fishing), and safety (horse back riding and hiking). Accommodations are extraordinary. My children still request to return, and that may be the best indicator of a splendid time.
