We stayed there on Aug 7 2012 in the Queen Cabin and we had a friend that just stayed in the normal cabins. It was just a beautiful as the picture on their website. Clean and everything worked, bed was comfortable. The room had a kitchen which we didnt use since we were just there for 1 night. Plus it had a screened in porch with a TV and a nice leather couch in the cabin. I was sad that we werent able to stay there longer, but we will be back with out a doubt.

We are here with our 5Wheel...what a beautiful Resort! Great parking. The scenery is so beautiful. We are camped along the Wind River. Very clean restrooms, showers.
Very quiet and awesome scenery...the Wind River is babbling right next to our campsite.
The Campground and Resort has all the amenities, good cell service, wifi, cable and good hookups.
No restaurant at this time, but only 3 miles from Dubois, which has excellent restaurants.
Bring your fishing pole and Wyoming fishing license.

Room Tip: Very top notch and clean!

We are a big rig in the RV section. Spots are large and well appointed. We have a nice picnic table and a fire ring with a cowboy grill. Our spot is on the river so we put out bird feeders and we have birds and deer and geese all the time, We met some nice people who showed us the ropes. Everything is well maintained and the office is responsive when you need help. Bathrooms and laundry are clean and like new. Dubois is great. Using it as a base for Wind River, Tetons and Yellowstone. The hiking, fishing and animal spotting is wonderful. Have gone fishing and rafting using Marlows Fly Shop on main street. They can set up almost trip. We bragged so much that we have company coming for next week. It is nice to have the motel here for visitors. The rooms are just right. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I spent a relaxing week at the Loghorn Ranch in the lodge (motel-type rooms). The room was lovely with its western theme, spotless, quiet, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic, but adequate, and eating on the deck overlooking mesas in the cool mountain air was very enjoyable.

Friends joined us there and stayed three nights, and we all enjoyed the beautiful area around Dubois and the genuine western flavor of the town. There are several good restaurants, but don't expect fast-food or chain cafes, and that adds to the charm of the town. There are several excellent museums, and the Tetons and Yellowstone are within 1-1/2 to 2 hours away.

Staying for a week, we would found shelves, a cabinet or closet helpful in both the bedroom and bathroom. Also, the chairs in the room were straight chairs and it would have been enjoyable to have at least one comfortable chair.

My husband uses a motorized scooter, and the ramp to the rooms in the building where we stayed was at the opposite end of the building from our room and the office/breakfast room which was in a separate building. The drive was gravel, and going from one building to the other was difficult in the scooter, and would be in a wheelchair, as well.

All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at Longhorn Ranch and hope to return to Dubois. When we do, we'll stay at the Longhorn Ranch again.

We used the Longhorn as a base camp for a group backpacking trip, staying there a total of three nights. We have used Longhorn in the past for similar outings. This is one of the nicest RV and tent campgrounds I have seen (we stayed in large tents). All of the facilities are clean and well maintained. A substantial continental breakfast is offered that is inexpensive, but satisfying. The management is always friendly, helpful and accommodating.
