This is an old building with lots of Coca Cola memorablia. The ice cream shop is wonderful. Lots of flavors to choose from and generous scoops of ice cream fill the cones!

We stopped here for lunch on advice of the downtown bakery owner, and the food was good. The wife enjoyed the patty melt and I similarly enjoyed a grilled cheese sandwich and bowl of house-made soup.

The big detraction here, for us, was the smell of cigarette smoke throughout the non-smoking portion of the restaurant. Also, the restaurant is rather dimly illuminated--enough so to make it difficult to read the menu. Our server was friendly, informative, and efficient.

We tried to get an ice cream treat in the parlor on our way out, but never found anyone tending the store.

We went with family just for some ice-cream, but were impressed with the decor and gift shop. It is quaint and quite charming!

We actually ate breakfast here by mistake, intending to meet somebody who instead had gone to the Broken Wheel Truck Stop, which we may try next time (if there is a next time). It's an odd looking place on the outside, mostly advertising itself as an ice cream store, but there is a rambling collection of rooms on the side and back where food was served. The front area was filled with large, surly-looking guys who smelled of tobacco and stopped talking the moment we came in, which felt kind of creepy, but one of the back rooms had space for all of us amidst its curious Wild West decor, heavy on the American flags and John Wayne tributes.

Our waitress seemed tired and harassed and we saw her pretty infrequently, giving us some time to explore the place before breakfast arrived, and it's an interesting hotchpotch of stuff. Unfortunately the breakfast was average to sub-par, OK eggs but wafer-thin bacon and boiling hot burnt-tasting coffee, and we didn't linger for the ice cream that somebody had recommended to us.

If you like frozen, fried food this is the place. Nothing fresh here, Service was average. Adequate for a quick bite but nothing more.
