We stayed here for one night as a side trip to Yellowstone. The hotel consists of individual log cabins that are new. They are on a paved lot with stones, so I thought I may have made a mistake going there - boy was I wrong! The accomodations were the best we had in the 5 places we stayed on our vacation. We had a suite which consisted of a separate bedroom with a queen bed and TV. Kids slept in the living room on a pull out couch. The fixtures were top of the line, not what you would expect in a hotel. Paid around $160, and it was well worth it. Daughters enjoyed the large swimming/hot tub pool. Front desk was very helpful, got us tickets to the rodeo down the street and had them waiting for us at the counter. Positively recommend.

As many other reviewers have stated, this place is wonderful. I only wish that other hotel/resort operators had the same mentality that these owners do. Pleasant, helpful, and accommodating are the first things that come to mind when describing every one that works at Cody Cowboy Village. The cabins are newer, decorated in a sophisticated western style, and the beds are truly to die for! The only thing to watch for is that some reservation sites list that this place has a pool. It does not, but it is a lovely large spa, that the kids loved being in, and so did we. breakfast was simple, but good. Muffins, pastries, cereal, great coffee (not an easy feat judging by other hotels coffee), and fruit. We will definitely be back to stay at this establishment.

We stayed in a double queen room. New, clean, and comfortable beds! Very nice TV. The staff is very very friendly and they want to make sure you have a good time. It looked much better than most places in the Cody area. I would stay here again for it's unique atmosphere.

A couple things to note: The rodeo is practically in its backyard. You can hear the cheers and roars. This didn't bother us since it seemed the rodeo was over before we were ready for bed (sometime before 10pm?). In the room it seems log cabin walls are thin...if you are a light sleeper, you can hear footsteps of some of the travellers since the parking areas are over gravel. You and other guests do have sitting areas outside, which is very nice, but it seems like it lacked in privacy. Eat breakfast early. The food is ordered/delivered fresh that morning, so they do run out of food. They serve the same continental breakfast as most other hotels.

If these things are minor, then you should like this place!
