Wow. I wasn't sure what we were getting into with these accomodations. This was well above my expectations. Upon arriving we were greeted as if we were old friends that had lost contact with each other. Rick and Petra are a lot of fun. The rooms were spacious enough for my husband and myself and our luggage. I found the rooms to be extremely clean and the grounds well kept. The mountain views nearby are beautiful. Bill really went out of his way with us. We left there feeling like extended family. Bill, Rick and Petra, Thank you. What a great time we had with all of you and look forward to seeing you again next year. Feels like a second home now. We started our adventure at the Cody Cowboy Village, went around the parks and ended our trip there. Great group of people and very personable. I will recommend this place to anyone and everyone traveling through Wyoming and the parks.

The log cabins are new, clean and delightful. My husband
enjoyed the flat screen tv while I couldn't pry myself out of the
oversized spa. The staff was patient and so informative and the beds devine. We've traveled extensively and are very picky, and this homey lodge resort did not disappoint us in any way. What a gem--the only place to stay in the delightful city of Cody!

This is a great hotel! It's like staying in one of the old roadside cabins, but these are new and extremely clean! It's located just next to the rodeo and down the street from the Buffalo Bill Museum. We stayed on a cold, windy day in June and the room was warm and comfortable. The beds and sheets are great!
If we ever go to Cody again, we will definately stay there!

We stayed here one night with our two sons (6 & 4) in one of the cabin suites. What a great stay! The beds were so comfortable, and the cabin was immaculate. Great amenities - refrigerator, microwave, sink outside the bathroom, good shower pressure. Flat screen tvs in both rooms. Comfy couch and chair, and my kid's favorite part, the chairs and table outside on the front porch of the little cabin. They kept on saying, "Howdy, pardners" to everybody who walked or drove past.. The continental breakfast was nice, and the front desk staff very friendly. We've stayed at another property in Cody in years past, and it doesn't even compare. The Cody Cowboy Village is the only place to stay here!

We had a perfect stay here like most others. One thing I do not understand tripadvisor, why is this lodge in the special lodging category and not in the normal motel/hotel one?? I work in tourism in the Netherlands so I know what I am talking about.
Rick was very kind to us, introduced us to some local people and give us good information. Rooms new, bathroom might be a bit more luxury for a suite we had. Breakfast fine, simple but very good and fresh. The staff is trying to do harder their best than the other hotels and as a guests you notice that.

We spent three nights in Cody, Wyoming at the Cody Cowboy Village, June 4th-6th, 2008. From the time I made the reservation I felt like we had new friends, Petra was great and so helpful. She gave me ideas on things to see on our way to Cody. We got in that evening and checked in with Nancy. She was so accommodating as we ended up changing our rooms from a suite to two king rooms. We also were driving a 31' RV that they had said we could park in the back by our suite. That was truly great as half of our family stayed in the motor home and half in the rooms. Bill was wonderful, he just said park here and let us plug in to their electricity. The Richardson Family felt like we were so welcomed by everyone at the Village. Johnna was wonderful, we all loved her and felt like taking her home with us.
Anyone going to Cody, Cody Cowboy Village is really a wonderful place to stay....I wasn't one of the fortunate that got to stay in the rooms, but my brothers and their wives loved the beds...the best in the west. We all loved the set up, the cabins were wonderful. A truly great place to vacation. We just hope to go back when we have more time.

Our family (2 kids, 2 adults) stayed here for one night on our way to Yellowstone. Overall we had a very nice stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Agree with others reviews that the beds were very comfortable. They don't have a pool - it is a giant hottub and our entire family enjoyed that. These are little duplex like cabins which create a nice atmosphere in Cody. Our room was very clean. Shampoo/Conditioner/Lotion very nice, nice towels. Downsides: The room is quite small, there is only a shower (no tub) and the shower is VERY small and no Fridge or Microwave, asked for additional pillows - none were available. Because of the small size of the room our family agreed we probably would not like staying here multiple nights.

Cody is a very nice little town and we really enjoyed spending the night.
