Description: Bubba's is only an hour’s drive from spectacular Yellowstone National Park. If you're looking for mouth-watering, hickory-smoked meats, look no further than Bubba's Bar-B-Que. Enjoy in the restaurant, or take it with you for picnics and road trips -- our meats are awesome alone or in sandwiches. We’re sure to have something to satisfy your hunger whether you’ve been hiking all day or are going to the rodeo in the evening. Not only do we have the best bar-b-que in Wyoming, but we also have sandwiches, burgers, steaks, an awesome salad bar, and great choices for the kids. Don't forget about our homemade desserts and generous selection of micro-brews.

We were really hungry & could get a table quickly. Looking forward to the bbq but was extremely disappointed. I had the beef brisket. It was a large portion, however, was very dry. I didn't even eat half of it. My husband had the full rack of baby back ribs that were far from falling off the bone which is what we are used to with bbq ribs. The garlic toast is greasy tasting. On the good side, the sides were quite good. Baked beans, cole slaw, & baked potato but exclude the French fries. It was quite an expensive meal to enjoy the sides only.

Buba’s Bar-B-Que was recommended to us by the clerk at our motel. She was right. The atmosphere is comfortable and clean. The food is delicious and plenteous. I had the half a bab-be-qued smoked chicken with Buba chips and fries. My wife had the brisket burger. Both were tasty. We tried a 3 of their sauces and found the ones we liked. Steve, our waiter, was excellent. He made sure his info was correct and that all our needs were met. Good guy!
Only down side were the flies, heat, and noise. Any flies in a restaurant bother me, but there was more than one. I don’t know if the AC was busted or not, but we were hot. The chef was constantly yelling to the wait staff out on the floor. Not sure why, but there must be a better way than startling the diners.
That being said, we will return every time we visit Cody. Good memories.

A bit away from main street, close to Rodeo stadium. Generous portions, good taste, service ok. Not having had a lot of BBQ in my life I liked the food. Meat could have been a bit softer and could have come off the bone a bit more easily. Liked additional BBQ sauce on the side.

Service and food were very good. Casual atmosphere, friendly staff. Really good food. Baby back ribs were the best. Portions are large. Fairly good salad bar.

Good food. The strap of fat needed to be removed from the baby backs. The salad bar was really good. Beer was cold. Flies were disgusting and atrocious! Nasty!! Bathrooms were gross.
My suggestion? Skip this restaurant and go to the Wyoming rib and chop house downtown. Better food, cleaner atmosphere, better wine list and more alcohol in general.
Will not be dining here again. Ever.

Yes, fly season in Cody WY is not fun at all for any business owner! No matter where you go in Cody in August and September, esp. the beginning of September, the flies are horrible. It actually is no reflection on the cleanliness of the restaurant. As long as the doors open, they fly in. We do everything allowed within guidelines to keep it to a minimum. We also have more windows in our restaurant than most and the light attracts them to these tables once they enter (Rib and Chop too dark to see or tell but they are there and they aren't as clean). To prove it, in our health inspection which was just a week ago, we received a special comment of commendation for the cleanliness and procedures followed at Bubbas, one of the best in town! That said, our bathrooms have never been disgusting and many locals even compliment us on the cleanliness of them and our restaurant. So, you might have come in after someone really messed it up but it wouldn't have stayed that way long at all as we check often. Viewers, read on and you will see how good we really are!
