Only 11 miles from Yellowstone it is located in beautiful scenery. Many of the cabins are listed on National Register of Historic Places.

The cabins are small but cozy and clean.

The dining room decor was lovely and the food was all home made and delicious.

The cabin and food were a good value compared to prices in Yellowstone.

We hope we get the opportunity to return to this lodge.

Room Tip: We were in the Dakota Cabin with a stone fireplace - #7

Kevin and Debbie really know how to look after you ,the cabins are small cosy but have everything you need ,the food is absolutely excellent ,if you stay you must have a cattleman's steak ,it is the best steak i have had in any hotel or restaurant EVER .The staff are wonderful ,we stayed 4 nights and could have stayed another 4 but --- , if you want a quiet holiday away from phones and the net then this is the place!

Beautiful Setting very close to Yellowstone Park. Proprietors Kevin and Debbie were wonderful. The staff was very friendly. The food was great, prepared with fresh ingredients. We stayed in cabin 7. I gave it 4 stars not 5 because our cabin had too many furnishings. There was little space in which to move around and the housekeeping can be better. Overall a great place to stay. A Bison and a family of deer came to visit us! I would stay again.

This cabins only property is located just outside the eastern entrance to Yellowstone and made a convenient stop before heading into the park. Our cabin was VERY small, but had a queen bed. There is a real lack of space to put your "things" while you're staying and we felt like we were tripping over one another trying to get anything done. We've been married 36 years, but this place has NO privacy for bathroom activity. The dining room served some outstanding food for both dinner and breakfast, with great views to go with your meals.

Room Tip: Get a larger cabin if you can afford it.

WARNING! Do not visit Yellowstone unless you stay at Elephant Head Lodge. From charming cabins, to scrumptious food, to extraordinary service, Kevin and Debbie Millard and their warm, attentive staff are hospitality personified.
A heartfelt thank you for contributing to a perfect vacation.
