We arrived in Cody late so we didn't really get to see much. We stopped to get some sleep here on our way to the Yellowstone National Park. Normally, you pay $18/person for a 2-day pass. Since we only had 1 hour to look around, the attendant gave us a good deal. We saw the Buffalo Bill Museum and the Firearms Museum. We didn't get to see the other 3, which is something about Arts, Native American, and Yellowstone history. The 2 we did see was pretty interesting. My husband is a huge outdoorsman so he particulary liked the Firearms Museum. Overall, an advice...if you're ever in Cody, don't miss this place. It's a must see!

One can spend hours at this place. The facade belies the numerous exhibits inside. We enjoyed the Western art and Native American exhibits. Museum store is awesome too!

The BBHC is world-renowned and that reputation is well deserved. FIVE museums in one you need to plan on at least TWO DAYS to see everything and take your time absorbing all there is to see there. And don't dismiss the Firearms museum if you think you would not be interested. It is just as fascinating as the rest of the museum. No matter how many times I go there, I am always amazed at what I find, and learn new things each time.

The historical center has made many changes within the last year....We took a day when the weather was cold and rainy to spend the day inside....What a treat....We needed a motorized wheel chair and it was ready when we got there.....
