The fine folks at the Chinatown Buffet in Powell branched over to Cody and set up in the old Green Gables (for old timers Eugene's Pizza) on Sheridan Avenue, and did a grand job of it. More roomy than the Powell location, and seemingly much better ventilated. There are far too many great selections on the buffet for even the most voracious appetite. Personal favorites are the Egg Fu Young, Beef Broccoli, Chicken Teriyaki, and their Sweet and Sour Chicken.

I love to try new food but I especially love Chinese. Most Chinese Buffets are ok but a few are worth trying many to find the good ones. This is NOT one of them. Nice servers. OK food.
All the food tasted the same with a little difference between the chicken and the beef.
Try another place and see if you can find "The One".

This is our favorite place to eat in Cody. They have a nice variety of Chinese food all made from scratch in their own kitchen. Lunch and dinner buffets are completely new food, and the selections are continually refreshed during each meal period. The entire experience, from your initial greeting to your last bite of fortune cookie, is pleasant and relaxed. This quality of food at such a reasonable price is a real bargain.

If you are seeking a AYCE buffet, this is the place in Cody.

The food is typical steam-table chinese fare, with not much to distinguish any dish from another.

The pot stickers were forgettable, goey concoctions.

The chicken dishes all tasted the same, and weren't especially different from the rest of the fare.

If you've had good chinese food elsewhere, don't expect this place to serve up anything that you'll remember but the usual gooey vegetables and meats coated in sauce.

This food is very blah. It all tastes the same and seems that a lot of it had been on the buffet for a very long time.
