“Recently renovated”
Reviewed June 10, 2013

We spent 4 nights here in one of the recently renovated rooms which was a huge improvement from when we staryed there 2 years age. I would definately stay again. Do be aware however that there is no elevator service to the second floor! I was not aware of this until I went to check in and was asked if I needed help getting my luggage up the stairs. At first I was told only the second floor was available, when I asked why this was not disclosed when I made the reservation, a room was suddenly found on the ground floor. Also be sure to ask about where to as it may or may not be close to your room.

Room Tip: Ask for a renovated room on the first floor and also ask where the parking is in relationship to the...

Dear howardnevada,

Thank you for your valuable feedback. We are very pleased to hear that you enjoyed the newly renovated rooms. You may be pleased to know that we have plans to install an elevator in the near future, and sincerely hope you will give the Holiday Inn at the Buffalo Bill Village Resort another opportunity when in the area.

Sincerely,

As others have said, this is not your average Holiday Inn. It is a bright and shiny and well run. There is nothing to fault here. Staff are great. Restaurant is excellent. Breakfast is good and the food is well prepared. Would very happily stay here again.

Room Tip: Internal facing the pool are the quietest

We were very surprised by how updated our rooms were in this hotel! Bathrooms were awesome! We ate in the dining room for most meals, the service was great, the food was really good and large portions! Very happy with this hotel choice!! Also cute gift shop on the premises.
Just be aware that there is no elevator, but it is only 2 floors.

We used Priceline to find a room in Cody. The older Holiday Inns are usually like big dinosaurs - too much common space and worn out rooms. Well....... when we drove up we were very hopeful. The outside had been attractively renovated as was the lobby. Our big surprise was the room. It is beautiful. We've been traveling the country for three weeks and never have we been in such a fresh and well planned room. The bathroom has a unique modern glass shower door on the stall *stay here and you'll understand what I mean", the electrical and computer charging outlets everywhere in the room and the desk plus night tables all are modern, sleek and functional. We especially like the bedside lamps that have an extending book light. But most important, the beds are among the best we've had.
The designers should be commended as should the hotel owners who went the extra step.
We will surely enjoy our night in Cody.

This is the largest property we've encountered in quite some time. The room was spacious and the bathroom was huge. The first impression upon entering our room was the cleanliness. Everything literally sparkled. There were two types of pillows on the bed that were labeled firm and soft. That was a first in any hotel we've been in. Almost all hotels have a coffee maker and their result is usually undrinkable. This hotel has a Keurig. Enough said. Finally the staff is one of the friendliest and most helpful we've seen, and refreshing would be an understatement. From the maintenance man to the front desk staff, everyone exudes a helpful attitude and makes guests feel special.

We had a very nice room very clean, nice size bathroom. The down side after checking in we went to our room which was at the laundry end for the hotel. The hall was filled with lots of cleaning staff and trolleys full of dirty bed linen. This made the place untidy and industrial looking. This was a real shame, perhaps this laundry should have a larger area to place these trolleys. You expect one or two but this was blocking a very larger area not nice when you are just entering your room. Check out was 11 and the staff were also hoovering to get in our room even with a privacy sign out, and we left early at 9.30am for our next long trip.
The manager was very good in the restaurant and our food really good and excellent value. Tatiania the waitress was brilliant.
Would recommend to stay here but sort out that laundry end, lose a room to take the overflow of laundry trolleys

Probably the second best place to stay in Cody. Really comfy beds and fast wifi. Attached restaurant and bar. Very good service. Has a pool and work out room. A good place to stay either in or out from the airport. The bar has a very weird semi-obscene picture as it's theme.
