We stayed for just one night, if there were mice we did not see any, as we were hardly in our room and if there were, what on earth do folk expect, we are in the wilderness for goodness sake, a part of American history.

We were made most welcome, could not believe that all the photographs were real and not copies, my husband sat in Cody's chair in the lodge, so amazing.

All the staff and locals treated us so kindly and we had a ball and will definately be back next year for more than one night.

Property easy to find, just outside the east entrance to Yellowstone and definately looks the part.

All the staff were very attentive and we had great service including being supplied with crackers to feed the foxes that would wander up in the dusk.

The cabins were basic, but had everything you needed. Didn't miss the TV as we settled down into the bar for the evening chatting to the staff.

As previous posters have mentioned, the security of the rooms did not seem great, but the "resort" is in the middle of nothingness so this wasn't a concern.

We were booked for 2 nights here but had to leave after one since the mice were not only numerous in the cabins but also incredibly aggressive! Five minutes after checking in a mouse came right out to greet us and proceeded to jump into our suitcase to see what we had brought for him. We managed to catch him and take him outside but of course he was just the tip of the mice-berg! Through the night the mice were everywhere, including our beds! They crawled on us in our sleep (which turned into no sleep). We checked out the next morning, demanded a discount on the room. Later we learned from someone that stayed there a few years ago that the same problem existed. The management obviously does nothing to contain this situation.

We were a little nervous by the other reports on tripadvisor but decided to keep the reservation as we were only staying there 2 nights out of our 10 day vacation. We rented a very clean private log cabin that had huge vaulted ceilings and a private porch. The bathroom was huge and after being camping in Big Horn Nat'l Park the night before all we wanted was a nice hot shower. The staff was really fun and joked around with us right off the get go. It was so close to the east entrance of Yellowstone and was perfect in the mornings to have everything we needed available to us before heading in for a day at the park. (Coffee in the morning, Ice for the cooler, Gas for the driving) We would stay there again for our entire Yellowstone vacation!

I was sad to have to leave Pahaska and return to civilization after a week of awesome beauty, gourmet dining, & quaint but very clean accommadations. Pahaska is at the end of the 50 mile scenic highway Teddy Roosevelt branded as "the most scenic highway in america", and just the ride to the resort set the stage for a week of awe inspiring beauty, scenery, and an all around fantastic vacation. The cabins were clean, comfortable, and the staff went out of their way to fullfill your every wish and need.

No, there was no TV, or air conditioning, but with the mountain views, wildlife, Buffalo Bills lodge, etc. WHO NEEDS TV, and the window allowed wonderful breezes and the smell of mountain air to keep the room more than comfortable. Also--keeping the window open was not a problem for security, as the area is very well managed and secure, the staff and people were wonderful and it didn't feel like a security risk at all, rather like the old west days when people felt safe and secure at all times. (by the way, for large amounts of cash or valuables, access to more security was available, much like any "fine hotel" in a city.)
The food was a very pleasant surprise --while i expected "camp" type meals, they were gourmet, huge proportions, excellent service, and for the short wait for your order, the menu's were printed inside copies of an old west early 1900's newspaper depicting actual "buffalo Bill" adventures in securing his town of Cody. The staff was a mix of people from all over the states and some foreign countries, and always pleasant, smiling and eager to fulfill your every request.
The bathrooms were clean, towels were well stocked, thick and fluffy, and hot water was plentiful. Although I personally pull the covers up every day and Do make the bed on vacation, housekeeping still made my room look fresh and new every day, and although i did expect to encounter a few wild bugs/birds/woodland creatures (this is wilderness country), they were always on the OUTSIDE, and were never a problem in the cabin.
The trail ride was AMAZING, the guide was friendly, experienced and very knowledgeable about the area, the horses, and the plants and animals we encountered. There was alot of great places to explore (bear spray in hand) in walking distance of the cabin, with a gret little river filled with fish, amazing rocks to collect, deer and fox right outside of your door. The Cody lodge was fun to explore and in amazing shape for its age, and the resturant was an experience just to look at. A great gift shop for shopping, too, although i probably spent a little too much time in there!
All told--a wonderful, memorable experience that i would be thrilled to repeat at Pahaska teepee.
