The Irma Hotel has been trading on its history for too long. As a member of the Historic Hotels of the Rockies it should ensure that it reaches an acceptable standard. Are these hotels reviewed?
Take a hairdrier with you! When we asked for one we were told to try KMart.
Buffets cater for the the mass market in the hotel dining room. Avoid these 'meals' at all costs.
Our room was furnished with junk - not furniture. The bathroom was OK but the TV was squashed beside one of the beds. The other bed was round a corner. The sheets did not fit the bed properly and became detached from the mattress during the night.
Staff were generally friendly and helpful - excluding the hairdrier incident
Our view was of the hotel's ventilation plant which made the room very noisy.
Cody itself was great and the museum is not to be missed. The Buffalo Bill Dam and the trolley tour are also very good.
