“A comfortable night's sleep”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

We stayed one night when we were at the Wyoming Hereford Ranch for a wedding. Arrived very late and the night clerk was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a typical Best Western breakfast with hot eggs, waffles and the usual items. We did not use any of the other amenities. The hotel was clean and very nice. Definitely a great place to stay. If you are planning to participating in activities in Cheyenne be aware that the hotel is about 5 miles east of the city on I80 interstate. We had a very good rate that was arranged by the family member getting married.

Room Tip: I rated the location as "excellent" because it was across the freeway from where we were a...

Thank you for taking the time to review our property. I’m glad we were able to host your wedding party. The Hereford Ranch is a beautiful venue for any wedding and I’m glad that your family chose us to accommodate everyone coming in for the wedding. I’m happy to hear that you enjoyed our facility, even if it was only for the night, and that we were able to meet your needs during your stay with us. I hope that the next time you visit Cheyenne you don’t hesitate to call us, and let us show you all that we have to offer.

This Best Western was a nice place to break up a long drive. Our room was very nice and exceptionally clean. Mattresses were very comfortable; bathroom was roomy and modern. The desk clerk when we checked in was especially welcoming and informational. The breakfast was better than usually found in this type of hotel -- good green chile was offered to add to eggs or tortillas, a tasty change. However, there was no staff to keep the eating area clean and the food refilled.

A great night’s sleep on a comfortable mattress in a clean room is every weary travelers dream, and I’m happy to see that we were able to give you that on your stop during your long drive. Breakfast is something we have worked improving since the hotel changed over in December. We have added quite a few selections and have done our best to make it a healthy and filling experience for all our guests. I’m sorry that our breakfast attendant wasn’t available to freshen the area up during your stay. We can’t wait to see you again, on your next trip to Cheyenne.

We were road tripping from Keystone SD to Arches National Park. We'd been intending to break our journal earlier than Cheyenne but weren't able to find accommodation. By the time we got to Cheyenne, we were very tired and so rather than shop around, being a Best Western Rewards member, we decided on the Frontier Inn. It is a just off the highway motel that isn't that close to other facilities, but it's beautifully presented, had well decorated, comfortable and clean rooms, and was pet friendly, which we approved of even if we weren't traveling with pets ourselves. We were only there over night so we didn't get to use the pool or other facilities (I don't think it had a laundry). Breakfast was included, and was good. All in all a lovely experience.

I hope that the rest of your journey was as pleasant as your stay with us was. Our hotel has recently had some remodeling done and I am happy to hear that you found our décor so beautiful. We do offer all of the services that you spoke of, including a pool, hot tub, fitness center, business center and guest laundry. I encourage you to bring your family and family pet back and stay with us and see all that Cheyenne has to offer.

This is a nice Best Western. The rooms were clean, and nicely updated. It is a bit far out and not near downtown. I didn't have the breakfast, but my husband said it was not bad and they had a nice selection. Would stay here again if I had to go to Wyoming.

The sincere, welcoming, and helpful staff reflect the goals and standards of a manager. The staff and services were the best we have seen and experienced on a 6-week road trip. The staff were very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and made wonderful recommendations for food and shopping.

Room Tip: Be specific what your needs and wants are.

After a long drive in the hot weather this place was an oasis. The air conditioning worked well and the beds were comfortable. The room was a bit small, we had 2 queen beds. It had a microwave and small fridge, nice bathroom. The pool was small but not a problem since we were the only ones in it. The television didn't have a lot of channels. The breakfast was pretty good. They had make your own Belgian waffles, sausage, eggs, bacon(soggy). They had warm cookies in the evening which were very good. Would recommend this hotel.

Thank you so much for your review of our “oasis,” as you so eloquently put it. We really enjoy hearing about all the things that were great about your stay including comfortable beds and a nice cool room to come in to. I’m sorry that our breakfast wasn’t as great as you expected, but I encourage you to come back and see the exciting improvements we have made. Please come back and see us again sometime; we will be sure to have the cookies hot and waiting.

Right off I-80 at exit 367. We rolled into town early, and the front desk checked us in before 3pm. During check-in, the VERY knowledgeable front desk person gave us some wonderful ideas of what to do around in and around Cheyenne. Ideas: Each Friday night in the summer the town of Pines Bluff (25 mins from hotel) has a family run Rodeo at 7pm. Definitely worth checking out and watching all the bull riding and horse barrels racing especially for city folks like us. It was very authentic. For lunch she suggested us going into Cheyenne and eating at Sanford's Pub and Grub. OMG, was this a great place to eat especially with kids who eat a lot. A lot of choices to choose from. On our return from town, the clerk at the front desk had made fresh hot cookies. Made our afternoon.

The room itself was great and updated with a working fan in the bathroom. We had a two queen room. It was a bit small for 6 people. We used two air mattress on the floor, but the bathroom was quite large. We have stayed in larger for all of us, but it worked. The air condition worked rather well and everyone slept comfortable.

There was an average size in-door pool, which we didn't have a chance to use because there was so much to do in the city.

Breakfast was great. They had great coffee that wasn't weak. BW had a good variety on their breakfast bar too. None of the kids left their breakfast hungry.

Thanks so much for taking the time to share with other guests about your wonderful experience. It’s great to hear that you and your whole family enjoyed themselves so much during your stay. Cheyenne is a wonderful town and it is easy to get lost in all of the exciting things to do and see. It’s good to hear that you and your family got out and enjoyed our little piece of the frontier! I can imagine how important it is to have your children fed and happy before starting your day, and I’m glad that we helped you accomplish that. We hope that we will be your family’s future choice for Cheyenne Wyoming.
