Walking into this hotel room was such a nice retreat from a road trip! The beds were super comfortable and all the pillows just made it feel like a luxury hotel. The staff was helpful, there was a gym and pool, and the breakfast had plenty of options. The hotel was right off the freeway, so it was easy to get back on the road the next day.

We only stayed at this hotel one night on our way to Mt. Rushmore, but I think we had the best night's sleep ever! We had a king suite and this bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The front desk persons were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and modern.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback regarding our hotel. I am certainly disappointed that your stay was not all that it could have been.

I would like to apologize on be half of the hotel and its team for your stay. It is unfortunate that everything broke during your stay. We will be sure to use this as a training exercise with the Breakfast Hostesses.

Again, please accept my apologies, and I do hope the rest of your trip went well.

Sincerely,

Room was fine, everthing worked. Beds comfortable. breakfast was the worst we have had at a Marriott property. Toaster broken, waffle machine broken, another machine also broken. Had a quick, meager breakfast. No explaination, just sorry!. Fruit only item in good supply. No recourse if poor, its included in the room rate.

We stayed here for two days during the annual Frontier Days celebration. We could not have picked a better place, I don't think. Very convenient location. Excellent service by management and the front desk staff. We had a quiet, spacious room on the first floor on the parking lot side (which we requested) -- nice and cool, with daily temps at 100+.

Breakfast items were very good, and the breakfast area well attended, and with lots of tables -- not just 4 or 5 like so many places, where you have to stand around and hope somebody leaves. Not the case here. Refrigerator and M/W in the room is always a big plus.

Would definitely stay here again when passing through Cheyenne. Hated to leave this time, actually.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in June. Reading previous reviews, we requested and received a room on the south side, away from the expressway and never heard any outside noises. King suite had ample room to move around and was clean. Two problems with room - bathroom sink is right across from bed and not in bathroom so using it at night a problem and air conditioner is right next to bed and when it blows cold air you can feel it hitting you while in the bed. Breakfast was great - lots of choices and well stocked. Did hear a business woman complaining at breakfast that she couldn't sleep because of expressway noise on north side of hotel so make sure you get a room on the south side.

Room Tip: Request room on south side of hotel.

Booked hotel for a four night stay at a rate of 567. Hotel charged card for an extra 150 for incidentals that may be used, nothing we had actually used yet. When asked about it the manager got uppity and said it is standard to charge 20 a day. I am not good at math but I am pretty sure that 4 nights at 20 is only 80. When We decided that our money would be better spent somewhere else the manager refused to speak to us and left her poor desk clerk to deal with our outrage. Not only was there price screw up, they could not order properly for their breakfast, having run out of food before breakfast was half over and then telling guests they could buy stuff from their little shop. The air conditioner in the room spewed heat instead of cool air. The shower leaks. The only good thing I can say is at least the room was clean.

Room Tip: Go to the cheaper hotels, skip the so called luxury hotel. Got better service and such from the sup...

I used previous reviews to request a parking lot side room. Was given a ground room with 2 Queen Beds and a sofabed in a separate seating area. The first impression of the hotel and the room was 'Wow..this place seems very clean and smells very clean". The room was huge. It felt like an upscale apartment or condo. There was a small wet bar at the entrance of the room along with a seating area that had a desk and sofa and small end tables. You rounded the corner and there were the 2 queen beds. The layout of the room was unlike anything I had seen before. The bathroom and bathroom sink area were across from each other with the sink being on the outside of the bathroom. One of the things that I noticed was how high the ceilings were compared to other hotels. Probably a good 12 inches higher than other rooms I've been in.The most important thing though, was that the entire room seemed incredibly clean and almost brand new. I guess the hotel is around 4-5 years old but seems only months old.

Only negative would be the evening staff crew. There was only 1 person on staff and he wasn't the friendlist type. Very straight and to the point. Maybe he was having a bad day or something but he wasn't very helpful. What I did find irritating is that when he was dealing with us in person, he would stop the conversation to answer the phone and take reservations. Usually, staff answer and tell the people on the phone to 'please hold'. Here, he was making the non-phone people wait while he answered every ringing phone and dealt with their issues first. Made us feel as if we were an annoyance to him. We never did see another evening staff person so he may have had to take the role of 2 workers that night. Who knows.

Hotel area is about 1 1/2 miles from the downtown core and does have easy access to the freeway. It did seem awfully loud walking on the freeway side so definitely request a room on the parking lot side. I would stay here again if ever in the Cheyenne area again.

Room Tip: Stay on the parking lot side.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback regarding your stay with our hotel.
I am certainly disappointed that your stay was not all that it could have been.

I would like to thank you for your comments on the cleanliness and upkeep of the property itself.
I will be sure to pass that along to the housekeeping and maintenance staff.
I apologize for the lack of personnel that would have provided a friendlier and smoother assistance. Our desk clerk I'm sure was feeling overwhelmed by their duties.
I will definately make sure to use this experience as training exercise with our service staff.

Once again please accept my apologies and I hope the remainder of your trip was enjoyable.

Sincerely,

Heather Dickerson
