“Excellent stay!”
Reviewed July 24, 2011

We stayed in the Springhill Suites for one night.
The room was amazing. Spacious, clean and quiet. When you entered the room you first came into a small sitting area and kitchenette. When you passed the dresser with flatscreen TV you came into the bedroom.
The sitting area has a couch, an armchair, a table and a desk & chair. The kitchenette has a fridge, a microwave and a sink. The bedroom had a very comfortable King bed.
All rooms have free WiFi.
Breakfast was good. There was juices, coffee, tea, bread, bagels, jams, peanutbutter, cereals and fresh fruit.
The staff that we came across, frontdesk and breakfastcrew, were all very friendly.
When we'll return to Cheyenne, we will defenitely stay here again!

Like others on here, we were given a room on the north side, facing the freeway. And yes, the noise was loud for a good part of the night. The hotel addresses this by providing both ear plugs and a white noise maker (ala beach sounds, waterfalls, etc) in the rooms. We found that by leaving the air conditioner on instead of on auto, it drowned out most of the noise.

Note to others, ask for a room with an even number when you arrive and you'll avoid this.

The room itself was well appointed. A nice sofa and chair in the suite area, with a small wetbar and fridge. If you're staying awhile, it would be really convenient as there is also a microwave. There is also a small desk should you need it and free wi-fi.

The TV serves both sides of the room. It's large and loud!:) It can be swiveled to serve the suite area or the bed area. We had a king sized bed which was a DREAM to sleep on. Not sure if it was a temperpedic or what, but it was firm without being board stiff. THe pillow selection was awesome as well. We typically have to ask for extras, but there were plenty to choose from, both fluffy and firm...which is really rare.

The bathroom is small, but functional. NO tub, but the shower is good sized and is tiled, not a formed structure like in most hotels.

The breakfast was great. Cereals, hot cereal, sausages, eggs, make your own waffles, fruit, yogurt and biscuits were on our menu. All fresh and replenished often. Coffee, juice, milk and water were also flowing freely.

We stayed only one night but would gladly stay there again if we go through Cheyenne again. The hotel is incredibly easy to get to if you follow the signs from I-80. There's not much in walking distance, but plenty on the other side of the freeway.

Room Tip: ask for a room with an even number

This is the newest hotel in Cheyenne and a few miles away from the city. Mike at the front desk is very helpful.

We had a 2 queen suite with a nice sitting area and work desk. Beds were quite comfy. Shower could use a bit of updating. We enjoyed our stay after a long day of driving it was nice to have room to move about and somewhere to sit other than the bed.
Breakfast was very good with homemade oatmeal with toppings, omelets, pastries, and waffles. Sugar free and lite options were available which you don't always find.

Clean and spacious rooms. The only thing we didn't like was that our room was facing the freeway and we had a fair amount of noise but it did become less so at night. The hotel did provide earplugs but we would have preferred a room on the opposite side of the hotel. We tried but none were available.

This was the last stop on our whirlwind tour of Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, Cody Historical Museums, Yellowstone and Jackson Hole. A clean, spacious and welcoming property that offered a nice breakfast too boot! Location was close to interstates without being noisy. Price was very reasonable. The only drawback was the complete lack of shade in the parking lot since there are no trees in sight - I imagine this could be problematic on very hot days in the Summer. Nice pool and exercise facility.

Room Tip: Just ask.

As a frequent Marriott guest I am rating this against other Springhill Suites, not all Marriotts or all hotels in general. The rooms were nice, clean, and the service was very attentive. This is what I would have expected and what was delivered. I have no complaints and would stay in this location again anytime.
