“Food took a long time.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 8, 2013

Basic bar/grill food. Lots of choices. Fun atmosphere. Good thing there was a lot of stuff on the walls to look at, because the food took a really long time. The food was good when we got it. They were not overly busy; we didn't have to wait for seating at all.

“Really enjoyed this place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

This place is so much fun inside, there's a ton to look at while you eat. Our server was so friendly and helpful, she really knew the menu and made great suggestions. My sandwich was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful. They have some different things on their menu, and even though I tend to be a picky eater, I found plenty on there to choose from. The place was busy but we only had to wait about ten minutes for a table. It's definitely worth a try.

“Almost walked out”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2013

We had somewhere to be so decided to order the "Bottomless soup and salad" thinking it would be quick. Our waitress was unsure of what the soups that day were (she told us three soups but wasn't positive they were accurate, and she knew they were out of one but didn't know which.) The place was busy but not near full. I ordered a beer which took about 10 minutes to receive. After waiting for simply two soups and salads almost 45 minutes with no update from our waitress, we left two bucks on the table for the beer and were standing up to walk out when our waitress showed up with the food. She did not apologize and merely said "We only have 4 people working in the kitchen." Well, maybe she should have told us that before we ordered. We decided to stay and eat because we were hungry. Five minutes later, without offering us another soup or salad (it was supposed to be bottomless) or asking if we wanted anything else at all (like another beer since mine had been empty 20 minutes) our waitress quickly came up to the table and said "I'm applying the military discount to your ticket, and I'll be right back with it." She was very quick after that. Never an apology, only an attempt to blame. The bottomless soup and salad is apparently only bottomless if you have several hours to wait for refills. Also, the food was mediocre. We weren't expecting it to be better than that, though.

“The Best Fried Pickles EVER!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 1, 2013

Sanford's is an eclectic food and pub place. I love the atmosphere and the food. Food portions are BIG and the fried pickles are to die for! They have a huge variety of beer with $1 pints! The menu is absolutely huge with a wide variety of food to choose from. The wait staff is excellent and they also offer a military discount! I love this place!

“A Fun Place for Dinner and a Beer”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 27, 2013

Some locals sent us here when we asked them where to get an assortment of beers to choose from. This place was great. They had 56 beers on tap plus others in bottles. I had a BLT that was so good. The most bacon on a sandwich I've ever seen. They have a huge menu so take some time to look it over. We sat at the bar rather than wait for a table. The barmaids were friendly and fun. We actually ended up spending two evenings here because of the beer choices and the quality/value of the food. When you order dinner, they gave a discount on the beer also.
