“Wild West”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2014

This museum is good for families with children of all ages, from touch displays to a wild west play area. This is a good way to spend some time learning about the state of Wyoming.

“Good way to spend an hour”

Very interesting museum but did not understand relevance of lots of stuffed african animals. The history of the differant uniforms and guns kept our attention

“A great small museum for the whole family”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2014

Easy parking around the museum. A good overview of Wyoming history. Children will love it with a western play area and period clothes to change into. Look for the mystery item and get your wooden nickel. The museum is free and is a great way to present history to the public.

“Great Small Museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 27, 2014 via mobile

I am used to grand experiences like The Field Museum in Chicago or the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, but this was a really pleasant small museum. Being very interested in paleontology, I enjoyed seeing the fossils from the state, even if they were all casts. I managed to see everything in a little over an hour, so it is a short stop, but one well worth making. There are also plenty of hands-on activities for children to partake in (though I recommend they read everything they cab too).

“Make it a stop”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2014

The museum is clearly aimed at school kids; there are lots of hands on experiences. We have been in many, many museums and this is definitely worth a stop.
