Stopped in here ten minutes before they closed after a 16 hour drive. I'm sure that the staff would all have preferred to go home but they happily served us.
Our waitress gave stellar suggestions (both good dishes and ones she doesn't care for - A+ for honesty!! Wish I could remember her name - I do remember she was wearing a bow tie made from a folded $1 bill.)
The food came out hot, fresh and crisp! There was more food on each of our plates than we could comfortably finish. The cook came out to the dining room to make sure that our orders were up to expectation - none of us had a thing to complain about.
Other reviews on here complain that it's not "diner décor" - in my opinion they should just go find a sonic or kroll's, or a perkins or country kitchen - that's not what this place is, nor is it what they're trying to be. This is just a good ol' "mom and pop" type café where service and value really mean something, and they also happen to have great food!
(just curious - the review before mine claims horrible bacon...did you tell the staff?? or just pull out your phone as quickly as possible to trash them on the internet?? there was bacon on my burger and it was great...just sayin...)
