“Put it in the Top Five for Wyoming”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 10, 2013

I'll say it up front. Morris House Bistro is easily in the top five of the best restaurants in Wyoming. We have been here with friends, with colleagues, for a romantic dinner and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is rich, the menu options divine, the service attentive and the fare - Southern fabulous! I can't find enough positive things to say about Morris House Bistro and can't wait to go back.

“Passion. Passion. And more Passion.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 4, 2013

Hey I am not a trained Chef but a lawyer and everyone tells me that I should open a restaurant.
Dameione is de man. Passion learned from his Grandmother is the true flavour of this restaurnant. Dameione has a bigger than life personality that carries into his food preperation.
As foodies with their first Morris dance in this establishment we were recommended to try the Fried Oyster and Crab cake starters with grits and shrimp as the main.
The only time that I have had grits was in an excellent dessert recreation.
The shrimp and grits were a buzz in the room so I volunteered as a grit virgen; brilliant.
The crab cakes were scrumptious.
The oyster stood as beautiful.
Dameione insisted on a sampling of his blue cheese ice cream and poache pair plus his bread pudding ,,, brilliant again.

This is one poplular spot and because of this we were not going to call day of ... but guess what ... Jane and staff were more than accomodating on this Thursday night.

“Southern hospitality meets the wide open west.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 29, 2013

You can feel and taste the love. We feasted on grilled oysters and pork belly and this was only the appetizers. Entrees tried were equally wonderful, duck, pompano and grits and shrimp. The host, owner and chef Dameione has a personality as big as the wide open plains of Wyoming. If you are in Cheyenne over a weekend, don't miss out on one of Cheyenne's best!

“Amazing Food... Amazing Staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 22, 2013

We love this place! It is perfect for that special night, or just to grab appetizers and a glass of wine! The food is made with love! The menu changes seasonally and is wonderful every time! If you are visiting during the summer make sure you check out the patio! It is my favorite place to sit. This restaurant provides such the perfect evening... it's like you have escaped to a whole new place! If you can make sure to try brunch and always leave room for desert! Prices are good for the meal you are going to have!

“Coastal South Carolina Cooking at its Best”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2013

Excellent coastal Carolina cooking in Cheyenne. They change their menu's seasonally, so there's always something new. Their grits and shrimp and crab cakes are local favorites (and are served year round). Wine list is a little limited, but decent. The chef comes out and visits with the customers, and the wait staff are excellent attentive but not pushy. This place is pretty small and fills up quickly - so reservations are a must; the early 5:30 seating usually has the most openings.
