The local AFB lodging was full and this hotel was on a list they supplied me for suggestions of hotels off base. I called to check the availability and they were able to find me a nice single room for a great government rate. The room smelled great, looked great, free wifi, and a nice flat screen. The A/C was even quiet when it shut off! Would defiantly stay here again.

Have stayed in Microtels in the past. When I asked the room rate, I hesitated as we are on a cross country trip and the rate was a little high I thought. Front desk asked what I was willing to pay and accepted my figure I mentioned. Only draw back is if you need a hair dryer, they must be obtained from the front desk as they are not mounted in the rooms. Room is clean, bathroom with fluffy towels. Room well lit for any work you need to do. Would stay here again.

Had called the hotel and Front Desk agent was not very friendly and helpful when I asked her for things to do in the area. I already felt horrible about booking the hotel and had a feeling it was not going to be great if Front Desk staff is not helpful. Went there anyways since it was a pit stop for our cross country travel.
When we checked in, the front area by the hotel was a sheet of ice. (we let the GM know and she said unfortunately it snows and they hire a company to take care of their area infront of hotel, also spoke to Housekeeping and Mrs said they are not allowed to put down salt since the guests drag it into the hotel). Our bed had a hair on it and room was ice cold, tried to turn on heater...not coming on. We switched rooms, hair on pillow (but did not bother saying anything anymore, just put the pillow on the floor). They also had a power outage. Internet did not connect right away they had approx 4 different sign on names that popped up and Mrs did not clearly specify which one, after second phone call she finally gave us correct one with matching password. Had to run to desk to get shampoo since Front Desk agent said she cannot leave desk. Vent in bathroom was hanging down. One housekeeper was very nice we met in the morning other wise the 2 female Front Desk agents lacked on customer service and did not seem to care much and had attitudes etc. Spoke to GM about issues and let her know that we were not happy at all, she offered 10% and she pretty much just found excuses that unfortunately it does snow she said - it snows yes but other hotels can take care of the ice outside their front door, and the poweroutage she said was throughout the town. Did not feel like 10% would make up for it. Plus after checking out they charged me 15 dollars more - they probably try to be slick to get some money saying I took something from the room since they have a card in room : due to high demand on our towells etc you can buy those items at the desk (if i wanted one of their items I would have gotten a clean one from the desk). Not happy at all with the stay and would NEVER stay there again!
(plus they have a sign outside: Now Open - per FD agent they opened in 2007 - I think it is time to take off that sign)
