I stay in a lot of La Quintas because a) our company utilizes them as a preferred hotel vendor and b) they allow pets with no hassle. This location was not a train wreck, but was definitely not up to the expectation I havecome to have from this chain based on past stays. The room I was in had cat or fine dog hair like a Pomeranian in various areas. A prior animal had urinated on the corner of one of the bed platforms and it had never been cleaned up and I could smell it. As I was travelling this trip with my dog I was curious to see if I would be charged for this but thankfully no additional charge showed up. The bathroom was not very clean, dirt in corners of the floor and the tub had residue in it as well as some soiling that wasn't cleaned. The deadbolt on the door did not work and the upper safety lock bolts were just about stripped out. The front desk clerk that checked me in was not super friendly, but was very efficient which is more important to me. All night long this particular group of people was coming and going, talking loudly in the hallways for several minutes at a time until I finally suggested after midnight that these rooms aren't hermetically sealed and people can hear them and it might be better if they took these conversations in their rooms. While this is not the hotel's responsibility, I mention this for future travelers to not stay by any entry doors as they are LOUD when opened and closed. On the positive side, the mattresses were newer and comfortable, there was no shortage of pillows, and the heaters work great. There is plenty of parking, including room for larger & commercial sized vehicles. Overall, this La Quinta is still a good value for the price, but definitely the worst La Quinta I have stayed at thus far. This chain has a great reputation for high standards and this one just fell short. I struggled between 2 and 3 stars on this one.

This hotel doesn't charge a pet fee and the room did not appear to be designated! Great AAA rate of $72+tax/King. The clerk was helpful though not outgoing. I was very impressed with the rooms decor--it was modern and clean. There were the usual stray hairs in the bathroom, but I am picky about that! The rest of the room was great! Shower/tub was kind of small but adequate. Great TV and many outlets for electronics. Only downside is that the Internet wouldn't work and the clerk could not fix it!! Large parking area for commercial drivers and exits near the various lots. Absolutely recommend for commercial drivers and pet owners!

Nice hotel, the room I had was not noisy even though it was near the interstate. Good service all was good. Worst part was watery Nescafe coffee, so all in all an excellent place to stay. Bring a wine glass or mug if you don't like styrofoam. Staff was very nice and effective.

This is a very nice hotel. It's a bit difficult to locate if you're unfamiliar with the area and you arrive after dark, but well worth the "search". Extremely clean and professionally managed. There is a restaurant right next door, however, the hotel provides a breakfast, with breads, waffles, yogart, cereal, fruit, coffee, tea and juice, to name a few.

We have stayed several times here because it is cheaper than most of the chain hotels and the rooms are much larger. A King bed gives you a huge space for sleeping, with an extra desk and chair and a separate bath and vanity off the main room. The layout is different and seems almost like a suite. Breakfast was average, but we stopped there for the sleep

Room Tip: ask for King room
