What a surprise. Another small town café in the Rocky Mountain region. Nothing to suggest it serves more than the normal mass-produced café food. But we loved the tasty, fresh dishes. Not fancy, but terrific. We had the beef and bean taco smothered in home-made green chile sauce. Our friend had the steak sandwich, and we followed with the home-made bread pudding with lemon sauce. If we were in a 50 mile radius I would head back just enjoy to the bread pudding. If your near Laramie put Centennial in your GPS. The scenery is pretty fabulous too.

The Beartree has grown from nothing over the years, clearly by putting out great food. Unfortunately, they often can get swamped by not having enough people to wait on tables, when it goes from quiet to busy. This happens especially when they are also serving food in the rear with a band. The Café is the restaurant only (they serve drinks) and the Tavern is a separate entrance. On our visit the pizza (very popular) was running 45 minutes, so we paid and came back.....well worth it! They so their own light crusty pizza with the choice of four sauces: Marinara, Pesto, Pork Green Chile and Polar Bear (Olive Oil, Garlic, Parmesan & Oregano). We had a Pizza with Polar Bear Sauce and topped with Cheese, Spinach, chopped Tomato and Mushroom. Excellent. The draft Alaska IPA wasn't too bad either during my short wait. Yes....the pizza here is worth the wait! Open 9am - 11pm in the summer

What an interesting Diner - service was first rate as 13 hot bikers landed on them for an early lunch. Cold water was served instantly, cold drinks soon after and then some really good food. Shame we had to leave for some more awesome sights and roads, I'd love this to be local to my neighbourhood

Didn't hit the Cafe but instead stopped at the Bear Tree road side hot dog stand. Dot a suprisingly good Chicago style dog with everything. In the middle of WY, no less.

Outstanding service and food the value was great as well. Don't usually order pizza when I'm out. But have to say WOW. we ate in the back at the bar/restaurant, the front is just a restaurant. Outstanding service and the view was breathtaking. If I am ever in the area again I would be going back to this place. If you are anywhere near here, make the trip the drive is just beautiful
