Wonderful Management and Amenities!

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Aug 5, 2018
The staff and management couldn't be more accommodating, caring and easy to be with. We went on a 4hr. trail ride, that required safety, and precautions, which were all addressed. Tom lead the way and was excellent! We returned and had one of the best meals ever, by a staff that couldn't do enough for us. The lodge is so neat, rustic and charming. You'll love this place!!

This guy thinks he’s the law and order of the ranch. There are 75+ homesites here with ppl who live here year round. He’s been harassing homeowners for months for zero reason. He’s just trying to cause problems. He doesn’t own the lodge but is running it into the ground. They have significant turn over and mixes results of the meals they are serving. The management seems to be more interested in spreading false rumors and disparaging the homeowners than actually carrying for the lodge. What a shame. I’ve been coming here for 40 years and have never seen so much awfulness. It makes me sad. This behavior doesn’t represent Wyoming to me.

Find another place to outfit and glam camp until management changes.

Our Lodge Management has changed ( Tom is long gone!) and we are looking forward to the 2019 Season. We have prided ourselves in the Lodge and have renovated it to the MAX this past season Our new employees are the best of our past employees and caring and experienced wranglers will arrive with our horse herd in May. Our restaurant has wonderful food presentations on our Lodge Facebook page and we try to obtain the freshest and organic food to serve our guests plus a varied wine and beer list. Please try us again.

This lodge has had multiple management in the past few years with mixed results. The current managers have a lot to learn if they are here long enough. There have been at least 4 different cooks/chefs since May 2018. The quality of the food is hit or miss. They keep about 30 horses on 5 acres of pasture which has been eaten down to the roots.

We have new management and are looking forward to the 2019 season. We pride ourselves in our fresh, organic food and its presentations plus we strive to obtain the freshest seafood in the area including salmon, shrimp, scallops and lobster.
Our Lodge horses are owned by the Lodge and not leased as many other recreational ranches do. This way we know and care for our own horses and know their personalities and traits providing a safer experience for our guests. Our horses are fed twice daily with certified hay and grain.

Thank you for your wonderful description of our Boulder Lake Lodge. The base of the Wind River Mountain Range is absolutely stunning and we have so many sparkling lakes up the Boulder Trail head from the Lodge. Our log cabin with its loft and kitchen, dining, living room and even rocking chairs on the front porch nestled within a grove of Aspen trees is truly a great romantic hideaway or a great family cabin plus the 10 Lodge rooms with each its own bath and our Lodge Great Room with fireplace and bar make a perfect family weekend.

We took a pack horse trip up to the lakes just below the divide. Roger was so easy to work with. He accommodated our every need. Everything was a piece of cake, from the initial scheduling, to the end of our trip. We took a five hour pack horse trip into the WIndriver Mountains, and then Roger picked us up three days later and brought us out. I would totally reccommend this to anyone.

stayed two nights and three days. the rooms were very comfortable and clean. no tv(yippee!!), wifi available, cell service spotty(yippee!). the staff was outstanding and felt like family! horseback riding was perfect on two different days and different trails with beautiful scenery and great horses and guides! almost hate to give such a great review for fear they won't have space for us next time but, not giving them the review they deserve would be a great disservice to such a great place!!
