I am not a big fan of hotel restaurants, especially in resorts. They tend to be overpriced and of average quality. NOT Kaminski Brothers.
The quality of food puts Kaminski Brothers head and shoulders above every resort in the Dells. It can go toe-to-toe against any chop house anywhere in the United States.
The steak selections are reasonably priced for the size (another pleasant surprise for a resort property) and features dry aged beef. Only the finest steak houses offer dry aged meat and the quality was outstanding.
The portions sizes are such that no one leaves hungry. We had the Neuskes bacon as an appetizer and it was delicious. For a main course I had a small dry aged filet topped with crusted parmesan and two grilled shrimp. It was out of this world.
Their wine selections were quite good and I noticed that they had Hennessey Elipse cognac at the bar. Very, very rare to find such cognac. We ordered two and was pleasantly surprised to find the prices about $50 a shot less than a comparable restaurant in Milwaukee.
If I lived within 50 miles of the Dells I would make this a destination restaurant. it's that good.
Whenever I have dining or entertaining needs in the Dells or Baraboo, Kaminski Bros is the new destination. It can easily fill both roles.
